Celcom has launched EasyPhone and device bundle plan for the latest iPhones.

I myself had preordered the iPhone X through their Online Store. So far, no update on their delivery. Anyone facing the same situation?

Can't even find their Easyphone page for iPhone X now.

The first time you click on the Easyphone, it leads you to the EasyPhone Android. You have to click again on the Easyphone, then only it drops down the list to choose iPhone.

They separate the Easyphone into android and iPhone.

i also preorder port in from maxis,...however till now no reply, no SMS to reply or any news...just got the order email...
anyone know how celcom works??? they said delivery, and there is a midnight delivery also...anyone can enlighten me??

did you try after clicking iPhone section, and see iPhone X at their page? i only see iPhone 8 and below haha

On their TnC (attached on their Easyphone page), it says delivery to address within 48 hours. No midnight delivery was mentioned at all after the preorder.
I prefer midnight delivery though, can get to use the phone earlier.

At this moment I can see the iPhone X. The content on the page seems to be changing, sometimes I cant see the iPhone X too.

JUST talked to Celcom Facebook staff, they confirmed that delivery is through courier on 24 Nov, and MIDNIGHT DELIVERY IS FOR SELECTED CUSTOMER ONLY.

I wonder how do they choose SELECTED CUSTOMER? Still talking with them though.

Btw if thereis any chance we can get easyphone online? I read it written as walk in to celcom or blue cube only..

Just received an email saying that the order has been shipped and will take about 2-3 days? If that’s so, the iPhone will reach next week to my house? Not really possible huh?

It actually is GDex website (i check it by copying the numbers and google search), but the tracking number doesnt work.

I am existing customer, retain my number, but they will send new simcard to be activated i think.

Celcom signal strength is the strongest one in my area, so no choice haha

Celcom no midnight delivery?

I pre-order on 17 Nov, during the process the is no selection of delivery method.

Waited until now.. I call CS and they told me have to go to celcom center with proof of purchase.

Anyone pre-order from celcom can confirm this?

I preordered mine at blue cube, straight away receive an sms with a serial code which they asked me to show during the pick up at that blue cube from 24th-26th. No midnight delivery tho, they asked me to collect from 10am onwards on the 24th.

got the email too. Tried on GDex website, tracking number not found. Maybe gonna do it again tomorrow.

LATEST UPDATE: the status in active order (under account setting) on celcom website has changed from IN PROGRESS to SHIPPING.

However, the link still lead to a GDex intranet website, cant accessed without staff ID and password.

Guys if i want to take Easyphone iPhone X 64GB with First Platinum Plan, how much should i pay monthly? Is it RM148 + XXX ?

I pre-order online. How do I know which shop to collect?

Yes, the postpaid plan should be RM148 and the phone installment should be another RM1XX. It should be stated on the website.
BTW, the Celcom website is down the moment i write this LOL

You should have received emails telling you that the order has been shipped (at least thats what i received from Celcom).
Our guess is, online preorder and the phone are sent through courier, as stated in the TnC.

Upfront payment for customers with lengths of stay less than 12 months is RM200 x 3 months. The amount will be rebated in your monthly bill.

By the way the RM200 is from Android, couldn't access to the iPhone easyphone.

Yeah, customer staying in Celcom within 12 months got to pay an upfront payment, and also the device protection (RM50 monthly) is mandatory, can only be waived if staying in Celcom more than 12 months.

I suppose that midnight delivery means self pickup at their store at midnight, just like Maxis previously did last year. No further info yet on this.

But as mentioned, SELECTED user only. Which mean, the chances are slim. Hence, don't put so much hope.

How to see the status?

Login your Celcom id, there will be an ACTIVE ORDER button. From there you can see the status of your order.

No. Actually it's RM 198 + RM 98.

Went to Bluecube MyTown and the staff told me that there is no Easyphone scheme for iPhone X at the moment. I wonder how you guys did it?

Talk to their customer service just now, seems like they also not clear of the situation, but they claim that delivery starts from 24 Nov, and the ‘2-3 days’ in email should refer to ‘2-3 days after 24 Nov’.

I was given the option for easyphone and pay outright when i preordered at blue clube yesterday. As i opt for the outright payment, i did not ask further on the easyphone scheme.

i believe mytown is a dealer not bluecube. Only bluecube and celcom centre and certain dealer can do easyplan.

Went to Pavilion to pre-book iphonex but already sold out. That counter girl put my name in waiting list. We'll see how it goes

It said 2-3 WORKING DAY starting from the email date.... Which means latest Thursday should received the good. Not after 24 Nov.

Yeah i know, but the customer service staff said there maybe some error on the email sent. I suppose the email shouldnt be sent yesterday, or it should be sent on Friday?
Perhaps thats why we cant track the order?
Not sure though, we will wait and see🤔

Looks like customer service / sales / logistic are not talking to each other. Everyone is just guessing and no one in celcom knows what is going in. This is totally suck and not acceptable. Should complaint to all their social media.

On iPhone x forum. some claim received call from celcom they will do midnight delivery for pre-order.

Latest update: the tracking number did work.

Since the website Celcom give leads us to GDex intranet (cant access without staff ID and password), i tried track those number on GDex e-tracking website.

The result shows that the order has been picked by courier (for my tracking number).

Easyphone allows you to pay the device in installment for 2 years (postpaid plan charges separately), somehow like EPP i guess.

of coz Digi and Umobile are cheaper option but their packages are not as good as celcom not to mention their services.

what you are missing is actually the chance to change to a better plan within this 2 years, if those telco came up with a much more interesting plan.

But with that celcom gold plus plan (unlimited call 40gb internet 100gb dedicated video internet) i wonder what better plan they can came up with..

The RM50 is charged additionally, so it means device+plan+protection.

I bought at machine store ady. It's too late for celcom published on website during midnight i was waiting and waiting. LOL

Get into Celcom Store, login your celcom account (the one you use to login to pay bills), then preorder. There is an option of Change Rate Plan if I am not wrong, then from there you retain your number and proceed to the preorder.

I am an existing customer and did my pre order at blue cube. Pick up on the 24th from that particular blue cube.

If you wanna pre order now, all pre order stock finish already. You can still preorder i guess but u will receive it later.

Also, if you are previous celcom postpaid customer for 12 months the upfront payment is waived (only if u buy at celcom centre)

If i were you, i will walk in to celcom centre. On the very first day of iphone x launch and hope they still have stock for walk in customer. Apply leave if necessary.

iphone-x 256gb + gst = RM5899.00
total cost of ownership = RM7120.12

RM98 x 24 + gst = RM2493.12
iphone-x 256gb + gst = RM4534.68 (advance payment + gst = RM742.00 / total upfront + gst = RM5276.70)
total cost of ownership = RM7027.80

Advantages = upgrade of data plan to 20GB wkday + 20GB wkend and unlimited local calls

While your math is correct, it is hard to make decision base on cost of ownership alone. Because together with that cost, it comes with how many free data and free calls you'll receive each months...so...

You forget one thing. The RM700 upfront payment will be returned as monthly bill rebate, which means if you are going for Gold Plus plan (RM98 monthly), the RM700 will be your first SEVEN months bill payment (correct me if I am wrong). That means you dont have to pay bills for the first seven months. You save another RM700 actually.

I learnt from the another thread that midnight delivery actually means that you can go their store to pick up the phone at 24 Nov midnight? Unless you wanna sleep at night and collect it by yourself the next morning?

No bro. Midnight delivery mean they will come to your hse. They said celcom rep will come n help for activation too..They will take pict also to advertise. Time is 12am to 3am..That is y i dont want it cz will be sleeping like pig at that time..LOL

I did ask the personnel there, he said yes RM742(which include the portion of GST) will be deducted, but of course he mentioned it verbally only. Forgot to mention i need to pay booking fee of RM318 (including gst) which they will deduct from the final amount i need to pay on when i pick up the phone on the 24th, for this they also mentioned they will deduct RM318 which include gst from the final amount.

What i meant is, the RM700 upfront payment will actually be used to pay your bill, so even the plan for two years=RM98X24+GST=RM2393.12, you should deduct another RM700+ out of it, which makes it RM2393.12-RM700=RM 1693.12+-

They didnt collect the upfront payment without reason, it is to prevent those who buy phone cheaper then run away without paying bills. But for those who pay bills promptly, they can get the rebate (RM700) in bills la😁
