Bkn masalah tu, aku cuma nak tunjuk kat eoma ngan hahn yang e6600 aku takde masalah nak run kat setting aku, sebab aku pelik kenapa diorang tak boleh run kat setting yang sama ngan aku. Aku dah test 4 bijik e6600, semua boleh run kat setting yang sama ngan aku, tu aku pelik kenapa diorang punya tak boleh stable.

Batch?
Motherboard oso got batch aa?

All i know is that my P965-S & almostthere punya motherboard is the first batch from DFI.

Orthos results sometime are random, I would prefer OCCT to ensure better stability.

That's why even more sedih rite. haihh. same mobo and supposedly good e6600 batch. RAM oso from shawty's bulk.

Even with same batch, not all will perform the same. Some random not even famous can outperforms good batch. yehlai's E6600ES can do 3.8Ghz, my previous E6600ES can't even do 3.4Ghz well.

Yeah i guess luck really counts on this one... Time for me to do garage sales anyway haha.

haha the chipset also got limit la, read from XS side there is no PROC FSB wall, but chipset will do hehe.... csz my proc vcore 1.42 stable at 502FSB after what ever high of volt also cannot pass 503

Latest Beta BIOS now 3 July. Using it, no difference, still can't set RAM timing in BIOS. :/

BTW, i put 2 4cm fans at my NB, it's much cooler now about 10 Celcius lower than before lol.

Can boot with updated BIOS and after update BIOS, boot it with a locked multi proc 1st then after that will work. And ES hard to say unless verified 100% to be in good condition

Well the mobo seems to be unable to latch on to the processor's stock multiplier unless there's a hard limit I believe. Which is why it won't first boot after BIOS flash unlocked multi's (Bootup at maximum multi of 15 anyone?).

So what's being recommended is that after BIOS flash, boot the rig up using a locked multiplier proc so it can latch onto something. Once set, it'll be able to boot unlocked multi procs at a specific multiplier within reasonable range. And is applies too for QX6700 (If it's a multi unlocked proc too). Otherwise latest updated BIOS would be able to boot quad core since microcode has been updated in the BIOS.

As for ES, well there's a few things you need to know about ES's before you wanna use them. And when I mean 100% working, means it better be not damaged at all. What you need to know I can't point exactly but if you want to know, you can PM me.

still, is this a good budget overclock motherboard??? and how many % can it go up? coz my asus p5ld2-se can only oc max 30% only.

Me mildly OC'ed already exceed 50% of my base clock speeds. I don't know bout the others. But yes, it's damn good budget OC mobo, just don't expect it to be easy. DFi's require blood and sweat, and rewards you accordingly

yeah, i read the other forum guide about the setting for overclocking... very simple only.... LOL

another reason that will cause your proc to boot at multipler 15 is when u boot it at temp -60 and below.

Need to ask, does this mobo support the new E6x50 C2D processors?

those are the fsb 1333 processor... not supported by this mobo...
