Anyone with Type B got a recent email on design changes? Looks like they're (1) increasing the size of toilet door and (2) changing the design of the kitchen window to a 'sliding window'.
Hmmm not bad.

QUOTE(shadow_bayangan @ Nov 25 2020, 01:09 AM) The sale seems slow, was wondering agent said that tower A&B have almost sold out, but KPKT website display only 100 units sold. (Jumlah Dijual) How often do kpkt update the info? It seems to me many agents are bullshit

Hmmm not bad. but looking at the layout, i don't think the window width at kitchen at the moment has sufficient space to do a sliding window, said 600mm width (so each panel 300mm?) unless it is sliding to top. also the toilet door, let say if they are going to increase the door width, this will affect the turning radius as it will hit the basin. unless they r increase the door width for master bath / bath 2.

Correct, the toilet door will be wider (from 700mm to 900mm) which will make it feel a bit more 'tight' when turning also. From the diagram provided, it's for Master/Bath 2/Bath 3. For the kitchen window, no example of the window was provided but yeah, I assume it's slide sideways partially instead of the full 300mm radius.

QUOTE(srsue @ Nov 27 2020, 06:36 PM) I didnt receive email on this Maybe you're a different tower? Mine's Tower A which might have a slightly different spec from the rest considering it's 'older'. Possible there's revisions done since then for the newer towers.

Signed late last year and got few revisions since then that have to be submitted to the lawyers officer for acknowledgement. All good. Better than nothing haha.

Somehow, I unsure how they able to change the louvre windows at kitchen / yard due to tight space to sliding. The louvre windows sure look cheapskate but still better than the old days of aluminium material (harder maintenance, will fall down easily). I also doubt if they can change to pull / push windows as most of the new condo provided that but ended up disabled by owners due to not practical enough. Tropika will be more luxury if they able to enlarge their windows heights and bringing in more sunlight bcz the facade already too common. The next thing would be the balcony rail, cheap and hard for maintenance.

Not sure it will apply for Block B C and D only or A as well They already changed it since 2-3 months ago. It was due to the common area toilet door directly facing it's dining area, so they move a bit to inner. It's good. But the expansion of the master bathroom actually sounds good bcz the room still huge enough, but when looking at the renovated show unit, it seems I prefer the older one. Unknown for Block C and D, but was informed for Block A and B. Means there are some adjustment to the layout plan which has been signed in the SPA.
