I am using dlink dir 850l. I am setting vlan 600 for hypptv for ssid unifi_iptv. But when i want to connect to the ssid,it always return error with wrong password although i hv key in the correct password. Any idea?

I just remove the password. Make it open. Works for me.

Also have the same problem as yours. Authentication error if put a password.

And disable internet only for guest ssid.

I bought the Router DIR 842 about a month ago and lately the past few weeks I've been having issues with it. I can't access App store or do an ICloud backup on my Apple devices, i can't load up Lowyat.net and several other websites not even youtube using the mobile app even even after changing to Google DNS, and i keep having to reconfigure the internet setting every time I access the web UI for the router. Oh and the dns setting always reverts back when I access the web UI. The router is DIR-842 HW:C1 FW:3.01. I've tried restoring it to factory setting but to no avail. I'm on Unifi btw. Speedtest shows I’m getting about 45+ Down,18 up though (usually it’s 50+ down,20+ up). Any help would be much appreciated

edit: I found out that I can only access Lowyat.net forum and several other websites when using a VPN. this is even when using Google DNS. what is wrong with the router?

Try to configure IPv6 to Local connection only to see if that help.

815 can't work as a l2tp vpn client.

You will have to configure that l2tp vpn client on your pc/notebook.

i have dsl 2750e and dsl 2730u and problem now is when i use 2730u everything work good without DC, but when i change it to 2750e, it DC a lot when play game.Both connect ADSL mode are (2730u = g.dmt) and (2750e = t1.413) , i did try ADSL2 and 2plus also the same ,that is 2730u all working well but 2750e gaming DC a lot.
WHY ?
Can i flash 2750u firmware into 2750e ? because 2750e firmware is outdated (now using sea 1.03 HW:T1).

Funny. Dude. Wrong firmware caused the trouble. 2750u firmware can't work on 2750e. Get the SEA_1.10, looking solid on my 2750e, no issues. Because i'm experiments on it before, and don't trying the beta firmware too!

For hardware V1. http://www.dlink.com.my/dsl-2750e-v1/ . Get the date 08/26/2015, not the version 2, lag like hell, local dns.


Feel like you got older version hardware, check http://www.dlink.com.my/dsl-2750e-th/ , make sure the hardware version, V1 only for V1 hardware or you got a crazy DSL I got one too, killed by lightning or usb port surge.
