ya... really wth man... I already complaint their FB, I will upload the video and put the branch name later on if I do not get any feedback. By doing this they already shorten our radiator life.. how they educate their foreman and technician that doing service to our car. I think there is no any SOP
*
Its Japanese brand so definitely there's SOP. But becoz its not charged in into the service chit, so pomen unable to take out a bottle of coolant (cost) for use unless customer agrees to pay extra.

What the service center should do is add De-ionised (DI) water instead of tap water.

Unless there's a leak, what was lost in system is water evaporation, so adding more coolant mix just increases coolant %. No right or wrong, but higher coolant concentration is usually for cold climate countries to prevent radiator freeze. It may make the radiator thermal dissipation rate slower thou. Tropical standard coolant/water mix is 50/50.

My rear passengers feedback to me that they r feeling the heat coming from the rear seat.

Anyone got similar feedback from your rear passenger?

Mine is City Hybrid.

This is how the battery cooling is done from their official "research" paper...

Not sure how they expel the air from the spare tyre well but I think it should exhaust out of the boot downwards and outwards of the car and not recirculate ? Not sure where they connect the outlet duct to... it just says "into the spare tyre well"...

So next question is, buntut warm or back warm or neck warm...

nice diagram

wonder where the outlet duct connect to? rear undercarriage got lubang to outside to dispel hot air?

mine hybrid also

so far i didnt have any rear passenger

but i dunno why mine rarely use EV or fully battery to move.

the battery always in 2 or 3 level.. once drop to 2, the engine will charge it. when 3 also wont use ev mode... can say almost 80% use engine to move

not sure whether it normal or what

But I don't think sop is carried out. From my experience with Japanese job, the reasonable SOP when found out customer car radiator tank coolent level is low, they should inform customer about this and ask customer do they want to top up or leave it. I am aware my radiator tank water will drop from time to time and I had purchased the coolent to top up last time.

2nd thing, I am not sure the sc is using tap OR DI water. As the same pot is pour into wiper water as well. If all Honda have set sc standard is using DI then diff story.

You mean my tank level drop is water evaporate out from the coolent concentration?

Looks very tempting, Civic FC owners will cry when their unique feature is now doable in City drool.gif

Oh but will this work with local City? I know local Smartkey fob is limited in features compared to US version so maybe nippon remote starter may not work with local City/keyfob. May need to get nippon Smartkey and reprogram it here.
*
Good question. Japan smart key fob same like us. But also we need white mice to buy and test to confirm haha.

Installed City X genuine DRL. The drl and drl module is comes from Philips. Downside is when turn on small light it auto off the drl. So I added a dim down relay and now it dims down when turn on small lights.

Loving it. Next project rear grace led lights and maybe front led lights if budget permits.

you should join the hybrid whatspp group

anyway once at 2 , the engine will kick in and force charge - that's the fact

The full battery happens if you are gliding and start charging up the battery to the max

Its okay to complaint and make sure they check. You may also ask if they used tap water or DI water in that case.

As for ur coolant, what disappears is water molecule due to evaporation. The system is water tight but not airtight so water loss is due to heat. What's written on ur bottle is, if you flush the system, always topup with coolant until entire system is completely full. The coolant in bottle is pre-mix, so deswai it says dont add water (to prevent dilution). After that, its recommended just add DI water.

But its no problem to continue add the bottle coolant, cuz rate of water loss for <10yo cars is very less, so the higher antifreeze concentration is negligible to system performance. Furthermore its near impossible to get DI water at home. So dont worry, you can still continue current practice, but you may want to ask the pomen topup coolant via ur bottle instead of using their water (whatever it is). Cheers.

My problem is different, I can feel the HEAT on top of my head. Even the SHADE touch also warm. Run my hand across the roof can feel warm at the front. Cheap quality, even my first car SATRIA 20yrs ago don't have this problem.

they feel back warm. but when i try sit on it, my buntut can feel warm too.

At 1st i suspect the battery heat too, but when i opened my trunk, don't feel the heat inside too, just like normal only.

now c the diagram dy also wonder where the air gone.. maybe hot air recirculate to the seats that's why the seat is hotter. haha..

Already highlighted this issue last week to my SA, hope when 1k service they can resolve this.

What colour is ur car?
Probably roof insulation insufficient thick. Deswai FL spec is also known as Cost Cutting spec. biggrin.gif
Just be grateful our roofs still got some insulation, unlike vios roof. Can hear drumming sound whenever it rains tongue.gif

Somehow in terms of creature comforts I feel my Persona (and Protons, in general) much better. The seats are less tiring, aircon superb, all round vision with lower dashboard, and drool-worthy stock sound system. My crappy FL HU just cant compare to the Blaupunkt unit even thou no screen.

If you on Econ and in jam, it'll charge up to 3 bars or >30% hybrid battery charge(%) then it'll stop charging if you press the brakes.

If the driver accelerates fast fast then stop near near want to kiss ppl's bumper, then engine will be often turned on because of hard acceleration.

If you accelerate smoothly to the car in front, then it'll be in EV mode.
For reference, I jam ~70% of my trip (AVG Speed 25km/h divide highway limit 80km/h) but 50% in EV mode...
Even with 50% EV mode, still getting 1 trip 17km/l if terrible jam, else ~20 km/l normal jam.

Bro, have you seen the stock speaker on our fl. Err. Not sure its purposelyor what but its too simple and cheap. The magnet is damm small. Today managed to diy a new set of pioneer ts-a1606c component series speaker. The tweeter is a little small buy i s sticked a rubber 2mm at the outer line, and it fitted just nice into the tweeter space on the door handle. I can say the soundstage and clarity improved 100% over stocked but not harsh to ear. The music is live now but lack of bass.
I used the casing adaptor and honda speaker wire harness to avoid cutting or modify anything original. Hope this help
