public bank likely to miss out giving out cashback on your credit card purchase. Happened twice ald!

I did not face any. Mind to share which cash back they missed out to yours?

1. Lazada- called CS. CS replied saying my purchase is over desktop not via Lazada app so it is not categorized 'ONLINE'. what logic is this??!! emailed them. Diff reply came back and they manually put in the cashback on next cycle
2. H&M- emailed them. Probably H&M is not considered as 'Departmental' to public bank.. who knows?!

1. Yes, Lazada recently facing some issue not only Pbb cards also same to others rebate card because Lazada change their payment platform not recognise as ecommerce, but Pbb will manual adjust cash back.

2. H&M confirmed not departmental stores. It's clothes stores, departmental referring to like Aeon / Parkson / Tangs / Metrojaya etc.

lazada issue is already known since end June. it seems to be fixed, so keep monitor and keep reporting. PBB is quite supportive in crediting back the cashback. it's Lazada's fault to begin with, not the banks.

u got the wrong idea about departmental. H&M is under MCC 5651: Family Clothing Stores.

tried at maxvalu @ sunway velocity mall, confirmed MCC 5411 Grocery.

i guess you can email but takes time to get answer lo. by phone call, get it in 1-2 mins.

I encountered the same problem too and after calling cs, it is a really bad news. Once your cc has been identified by the system as linked to multiple accounts, you are unable to use the same cc on shopee anymore.
