You can only stop the auto debit by instructing your merchant to stop. Bank won't be able to help you.

You can cancel the card, then the auto debit no longer applies.

I think if you report card missing (and pay the fine) your replacement card no longer valid for old auto debit (this one not sure, have to check).

If he is still using the card then it’s troublesome to report it as a lost card / cancelling the card.

The easiest way it’s to call up the merchant or write in to cancel the subscription.

My cutoff is always after 12 pm and no problems till now. Hopefully it stays this way.

U need to put at least 35K with at least one year period.

just to share something on spam calls:

yesterday evening received call from 03-5601 9186 which is an automated voice message saying I have pending transaction of RM3,589... before she finish talking I ended the call & block it.

Just now, I received call from 03-3755 9495 which is the same recording voice message... this round.. I listen until the end,
bla bla bla, press 1 if you agree, press 0 to repeat
end of call..

be careful ya... dinosaur Public bank will never call to verify transactions... somemore its ang moh girl voice! since when PBB hires angmoh girl...
