Wait for Maybank treatfair if your TP expiry date is allow, there are lots of items you can redeem by using TP with lower TP rate

never had before. But Maybank is my salary acc. lansi la them haiz

this year no treats fair, which is weird. maybe cost cutting.

anyway, plenty of on the spot redemption merchants, like senheng or harvey norman. can redeem on the spot with standard 400TP = RM1 rate.

Bad luck then. Maybank CC quite strict on new customer compare to existing customer that just add additional card.

Being a loyal & long patron customer also useless now.
My appeal for the card upon submitting supporting documents are being rejected.
As long as you have scars in PTPTN/CCRIS, your application will be very tough to go through.
I told the officer/agent that assisted me with the application/appeal that I'll pull out all my assets/products from Maybank. Only leave min involvement with them.

I think any bank also will find issue if you have scars in CCIRS/PTPTN. They're not in the business of losing money...

Your scars on PTPTN less than 6 months?
I missed 1 payment, but after 6 months, several bank approved my application.

My PTPTN problem is not my monthly repayment.
There's an outstanding amount that cannot be offset by the monthly repayment.
This outstanding from my understanding is accumulated from the conversion of conventional 3% loan to 1% Ujrah loan.
The only problem to solve this to clear that outstanding at PTPTN office.
I never miss my monthly repayment.

If I were you, I would change the treat points to krisflyer Miles.

Assume that all your TP are accumulated from MBB2 cards.
Every 500 krisflyer Miles for 4,240 treat points

So you need 8,480 treat points for every 1,000 krisflyer Miles.

600,000 / 8,480 = approximately 71,000 krisflyer Miles.

You can take 1 trip business class to Hong Kong from Singapore and 1 trip first class from Hong Kong to Singapore .

Business class : 27,500 krisflyer Miles one way
First class : 37,500 krisflyer Miles one way
