If I were you, I would change the treat points to krisflyer Miles.

Assume that all your TP are accumulated from MBB2 cards.
Every 500 krisflyer Miles for 4,240 treat points

http://www.maybank2u.com.my/WebBank/TPoints-Redemption-2.pdf

So you need 8,480 treat points for every 1,000 krisflyer Miles.

600,000 / 8,480 = approximately 71,000 krisflyer Miles.

You can take 1 trip business class to Hong Kong from Singapore and 1 trip first class from Hong Kong to Singapore .

Business class : 27,500 krisflyer Miles one way
First class : 37,500 krisflyer Miles one way

hmm.gif  It's like 50% less of the points required as compared to enrich. Wonder if the redemption rate is about the same.

I planned to redeem the one way suite to Europe (Zurich and Frankfurt) and one way business class from Europe (Zurich and Frankfurt) in oct 2018. However it is under wait list. I mean I redeem via savers awards instead of standards awards.

So I am thinking to change my plan to Beijing roundtrip by taking suite. Can redeem immediately if I choose savers awards.

I think it is more difficult to redeem suite class in future because the number of suite is reduced from 12 to 6.

For your information,

Every 1,000 Enrich Miles needs 10,600 TP for normal Maybank cards.

Every 1,000 krisflyer Miles needs 8,480 TP for normal Maybank cards.

However if you are using premier cards such as Amex reserve, every 1,000 enrich Miles or krisflyer Miles needs 4,770 TP.

There's still a 2000 TP savings for KF Miles.

If 1,000 Enrich Miles = 1,000 Krisflyer miles then flying from singapore is much more worth it. Wonder if anybody has done the study laugh.gif

I am studying this as well. Let’s discuss if you have any questions. I am willing to learn something from you as well.

Anyhow, I am based in Singapore. So I will only want to redeem Krisflyer Miles.

I am looking forward to visiting the Private Room in Changi Airport (exclusive for first class passengers).

Based on my calculations, Singapore to Auckland is most worth. 80,000 KF one way suite class with 10 hours journey. Sydney is worthless coz need 80,000 KF one way suite class with less than 8 hours flight time.

London 135,000 KF for 14 hours
Paris 135,000 KF for 14 hours
Frankfurt 135,000 KF for 13:25 hours
Zurich 135,000 KF for 13:20 hours

Above destinations are too popular and always in waiting list if you redeem the savers awards. No waiting list for standard awards but you need to use more miles to redeem.

Beijing 50,000 KF for 6 hours
And I think it is more easier to redeem compare to Europe destination.

Below are Asia destinations but I don’t think as worth as Beijing:
Tokyo 65,000 KF for 6:30 hours
Shanghai 50,000 KF for 05:15 hours
Hong Kong 37,500 KF for 4 hours

The suite seem like not going to reduce as i know, SIA are implementing their Brand New Suite recently roll out. Cheers!

From the news, I noted that the number of suites is reduced to 6. However there will be 78 seats in business class.

I read the news as below :

http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/busine...-suites-9368004

The US$850 million (S$1.16 billion) cabin overhaul comes as SIA marked a decade of flying the superjumbos and as the national carrier carries out a review of its business amid stiffening competition.
The changes include a revamp to its first-class suites, which were reduced from 12 to six and moved from the lower to upper deck.

Other updates include a change in the number of business class seats. The new A380s will have 78 business class seats on the upper deck, compared to previous configurations of 60 and 86.

Want to confirm with you all.

Payments to Unifi, utilities bills via jompay or paybill Malaysia with M2C Amex are not entitled for treatpoint but will get 5% cash back.
