got RM2 rebate

Paying using M2U, get 5%. If you follow some of the guys here, you will get RM 2 + 5% cash back.

Should be rm2 + 5% + 5tp
If not mistaken enrolled autopay. Before statement date pay using AMEX during weekend (the remaining balance must more than rm20 - requirement for the rm2 rebate).

If i not wrong, they using below tricks to get RM2 + 5% + 5XTP

1) Enroll Unifi auto Pay via TM.
2) Before the statement date (or before the system charge AMEX Card) , find a weekend pay the amount (not full amount but left RM20 balance)

Example : Each month bill RM158 , Pay RM138 at a weekend before the statement date (balance RM20 let it pay by autopay)

From here, the RM138 will get 5% CB while the balance RM20 will get RM2 Rebate from TM and total amount RM138+RM20 will get 5X TP.

Nope. RM 20 is the minimum.

min is 20, t&c set by TM, not yourself suka-suka choose your amount.

To be safe, pay RM137 instead of RM138.
Rebate of RM2 will appear on next bill. So your second advance payment is RM135.xx (remember to -0.12 due to GST), not RM137. So always -5% on RM135.xx (not RM138).

The autopay amount is the outstanding balance in your TM bill, you cannot change it. but it can be any amount including less than RM20, but only if autopay amount charged is >RM20, you will get RM2 rebate on your next bill.

would like to know if i want to upgrade my amex card from gold to platinum, do i need to resubmit everything to mbb or just the latest payslips will do ? how's the process?

Just latest payslip and fill in the upgrade form. I did mine nearly 3 years ago but I submitted three months' payslip.

i see, will my credit limit increase after the upgrade? (i think my credit score is quite good, at least my payment are quite on time )

Nope. So you will only get the max of CB RM 50 per month, even you spend more than 1k. But u still earn 5x point which is equivalent to 1.25% CB.
