You can have Ikhwan Visa, Ikhwan Mastercard and Ikhwan Amex at the same time as all 3 cards share same credit limit from Maybank Islamic.
But not Maybank Conventional credit cards including M2 Cards, you need to apply for new credit line from another card issuer (ie Maybank).
Maybank and Maybank Islamic are different banks.

Yep. I don't drive around much, so I can survive pumping petrol once a week most of the time. For those unfortunate weeks, I just pump (a little) using other cards like CIMB Cash Rebate Card because it gives 2% on weekdays so that I can survive till weekend for the power of Al Ikhwan card to shine.

I'm still on fence now whether to bring cash or just use my maybank2card gold for my NZ trip. Got few friends said if using cc the rates will kill you. Don't quite sure how true is this.

Basically how much difference between these 2 method? For example I had called few money changers and their rates varies from 1 NZD= 3.098-3.12. How much the rates should I expected if using cc?

Not exactly want to answer this. If you perhaps wanted to bring a few dollars of NZD, please pre book the money on apps called Eforex, their rate sometimes were better than midvalley exchange rates. Just book in the app and collect at whichever branch nearest to you.

Did you received email from Rinngitplus after submitted via Ringgitplus?

I will assign that month's 1k to spend with Amex in nz on a Saturday. The rest I will get best rate cash.

Have anyone had any experience redeem TP at focus point? I saw the ads in front of their shop.

Anyone try to pay TNB via m2u today? After key in TAC, it prompted me to system error page and ask me to try again.. I tried few times still the same.. now I worried it will be duplicate payment to my TNB later.. call Maybank aid their system is ok n no record on my TNB txn.. but can’t confirm will not be charged later..

Anyone experience b4?

Yup, paid multiple TNB bills this morning, so far no issued as those TNB Accounts have saved into my favourite, so no TAC is needed

May I know roughly wat time u pay? Coz I’ve some transaction didn’t prompt out error page.. some yes.. after 10am was ok, 8-9am+ cannot..

I tried again just now, the error still the same as attached since this morning

Only cashback using AMEX card on weekends.

5X TP for AMEX while Visa only 1X TP.

And not all merchant accept AMEX cards.

Anyone with having problems with their Amex card over the last 2 weeks? I've had situations where it declines the first 2 times and works on the third time. This happened twice.

Later that day my supplementary card also had the same issue but it did not work at all after three tries. Visa works fine.

Now, paying TNB, Astro and Syabas bill via M2U another error came out. It says unsuccessful: Account is not authorised. Reject code [0076]. Tried with Visa, no issue.

Made a complain for the first one and Maybank said it depends on line connection and ask to call them right away if it happens. The bills i'm paying now is via M2U, so i guess there is an issue.

I have just make another payment through M2U for TNB bill and it went through.

That Eforex very nice but already called the nearest branch and they dont keep NZD. Their rates also among the best so will keep this in mind.

In the end I decided to go with cash but will use the cc just in case.

Nope. It will continue remain on your Amex card to offset ur future expense on Amex card only. Won't auto split.
