Can iPhone 8 buyer explains why you didn't pick the iPhone x?
Do you feel the design abit dated with the iPhone 8?
*
1) price - too expensive mang

2) design - did u saw how the front camera set cuts on your display? lol. i dont mind the ip6 design, i prefer it to be simple and works everytime i expect it to work. i think this bezel-less trend is not for me. it may look stunning in a flat surface (table) but most of the time u r holding your phone and ur hands gonna have to grip on the screen eventually to secure ur phone from dropping (idk about you but i got big fat hands, dont h8 m8)

3) spec - same important stuff wo

4) features - faceID is mehh, i'd wait another gen or two. touchID reliable bigly

I think most who upgrade came from before iPhone 7, so it's fine. I think those on 7 or 7 Plus will eye the iPhone X if they do consider upgrading.

yeah, if ip7 no point at all to upgrade.

ip7 still very decent phone. unless comparing with ip x.

for android user or ip5s below its great upgrade.

my 3 years 6+ still working fine, just that its too bulky and without waterproof and 3D force. I see ip8 also worth upgrade for 6 series
*
also take RAM into account. 7+/8+ both have 3GB RAM.

Ya, this would be my biggest concern, ha ha...

Anyways, I did try DiGi’s prepaid line before switching back to maxis from Celcom and have to agree it’s still inferior to maxis, even though it shows 4G. Shame they haven’t improved over the years.
*
Switched over digi since 2015 until now from maxis ( 15 years maxis user ) so far no problem around klang valley penang and johor. My house and office coverage is good as well so i do save alot compared to maxis. The good thing is i can actually save a thousand or two after this switch. Thats quite some amount i can spend on other better thing in life.

Just went and checked the 8 Plus. Can say I'll stick with my 6S Plus. Dual cam and A11 aside, nothing mind blowing.
What I do wish the 6S had was the taptic home button.

Gonna wait for the X reviews then decide. Main thing I want to see is how the battery holds up with this new OLED screen.

I am using 6s plus as well. Still consider on the upgrade or not. Updated to iOS 11 the device seems is getting hard to cope with the os hiccup here and there when launching and exiting app makes me just want to change the phone.
If upgrade mainly for the ip67 , faster processor and also the 256Gb. Mine 128GB almost full and extra space will be good for now as well.
Well, basically the 6s plus is still in good use actually lol so perhaps skip this year as well and wait for another year lol

Skip and wait. You won’t regret. Mine on iOS 11.0.3 thankfully no issues. The 6S plus still good just Apple needs to do something about iOS 11. Since software even new phones will have issue. Which is what is pissing me off for a company famous for SW optimisation this year its been anything but!

Only thing I wish on the 6S is the taptic home button. Prefer that. The dual camera not way ahead so don't miss it .

Will always miss Slide to Unlock. Don't know which idiot removed that

Been doing that for the last three years with iPhone 6. It charges faster and the battery health is still above 80% with more than 1000 cycles after three years.

If u r using maxis, just get 8, not much different in term of the subsidised phone price.
