QUOTE(D-Frog @ Oct 20 2017, 05:16 PM) Can iPhone 8 buyer explains why you didn't pick the iPhone x? I chose not to get the iPhone X mainly because of the price. Too expensive for current salary T_TDo you feel the design abit dated with the iPhone 8? I didn't mind the design, actually thought it looked okay. QUOTE(attw @ Oct 20 2017, 03:04 PM) Ya, me too. Their 78 plan sounds like quite the deal. I really wonder if DiGi's network coverage has improved over the years but from what I heard from sister said (she is using Digi), I am using MaxisI was a maxis user then ported to DiGi for iPhone 4 but the coverage drove me nuts for 24 months, then I ported to Celcom for iPhone 5 and they drove me nuts for 12 months, then I went back to maxis for iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus. I'm currently on MOP 128 with a 48 share line for my iPad (cellular). The 128 is currently an overkill for me but the 98 plan doesn't qualify us to buy an iPhone which is a joke. Am planning to walk from maxis but worried DiGi's network coverage will return to haunt me, ha ha... mostly inside shopping mall Digi line not stable compare to Maxis that I am using even though Digi rolled out 900 mhz LTE, but it doesn't help much although it show 4G / 4G+ icon, but speed is terrible |

QUOTE(Davidtcf @ Oct 20 2017, 04:04 PM) go EPP (easy payment la).. just need a credit card. else need fork out a lot of cash. PBB and CIMB if i am not mistaken EPP for digi on average is about RM200-300 depending on the specs u choose. It will tie up your credit card's max limit tho eg. if swipe limit is RM8k.. RM5k+ is used up for this. Coz bank will pay in advance to Digi first.. then only u slowly pay back to bank without interest. P.S the credit card support for EPP also limited to 4 banks only.. Maybank and HSBC cards part of it.. the other 2 forgot.. when I was paying I saw them listed. |

Don't really need the extra features so stucked with 8. X also much more expensive to buy.Do you feel the design abit dated with the iPhone 8? |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Oct 20 2017, 05:52 PM) but from what I heard from sister said (she is using Digi), I am using Maxis So far I used digi so long I'm ok.. 4g everywhere in Selangor now and in major cities. mostly inside shopping mall Digi line not stable compare to Maxis that I am using even though Digi rolled out 900 mhz LTE, but it doesn't help much although it show 4G / 4G+ icon, but speed is terrible Maxis coverage sometimes is worse than Digi at certain areas. If you worry then pay more for celcom or maxis lor. Both charge much more than Digi for iPhone package. Really worth it if u can finish use their large mobile packages else is burning it every month. |

QUOTE(alikato94 @ Oct 20 2017, 03:07 PM) based on what i understand. i dropped by this morning at digi store bukit bintang, for 78 plan, total payment is round RM3700++ including GST.IF iphone8+ 64gb | digi price: RM3005 plan 78 | RM78 monthly, so total if you pay for 78x24month is RM1872 TOTAL: 3005+1872= RM4877 --------------- BUT: digi require upfront for ready cash RM530 (this will deduct in you monthly bills later) (no plan bills for 8 month, just pay fon for the first 8 month easy math: divide phone price/24 = RM125 digi plan/month = RM78 Total both is around = RM203/month for 24months this is what i understand la, i dunno why digi make it complicated, why dun show like maxis, exactly how much you need to pay/month but unfortunately that store cannot do EPP for citibank card, asked me to go to bangsar store, so i cancelled the order. |

Shame they haven’t improved over the years. |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Oct 20 2017, 06:18 PM) both have pros and cons Coz that’s how they squeeze the customers. They know they have superior network speed and coverage so it makes sense for them to milk the cow dry and yes, mostly I can't finished my data don't know why they don't want offer it with oneplan 98 |

QUOTE(D-Frog @ Oct 20 2017, 05:16 PM) Can iPhone 8 buyer explains why you didn't pick the iPhone x? Just went and checked the 8 Plus. Can say I'll stick with my 6S Plus. Dual cam and A11 aside, nothing mind blowing.Do you feel the design abit dated with the iPhone 8? What I do wish the 6S had was the taptic home button. Gonna wait for the X reviews then decide. Main thing I want to see is how the battery holds up with this new OLED screen. |

QUOTE(D-Frog @ Oct 20 2017, 05:16 PM) Can iPhone 8 buyer explains why you didn't pick the iPhone x? for me design is much better than the s8 as it does not have curve, easier to find casing, but my gripe is that the absent of a button on the screen, users may nee to 'relearn' how to use iphone with iphone X, and this phone will be heavy on gesture.Do you feel the design abit dated with the iPhone 8? |
