Does anyone's i8/8+ encounter heating issue when running some apps?

no doubt i8/+ is really gorgeous and much worth to purchase compared to the iX. saved up RM1k+ with the only difference of touch/face id, screen size and very minor upgrade on iX camera (compared to 8+).

but 1 bad thing about glass phone which is cannot 100% avoid micro-scratches even fresh out from box (same goes to samsung s8/note 8). every single unit definitely will have some very minor micro scratches but only can see in certain angle & lighting condition (and it definitely annoyed people with OCD like me). don't wish to install film protector on the back though.

anyone here know any source to purchase the original tpu apple casing for 8+ model below retail price? or got any slim transparent case recommended?

i bought a case that quite good quality but it is actually design for 7+ and it seems slightly tight for 8+.

yea so far those cases that specific stated for "8" model are those ori apple tpu/leather cases selling in Machines. but the price too high.

just curious is anyone facing heating issue in 8/8+?

does anyone using samsung wireless charger for 8/8+? does it compatible and how much does the charger cost?

absolutely safe. the parcel will need to sign by yourself by verifying your IC. no other people can sign on behalf of you.

easiest way if you not enough fingers to use: 3d touch on the notification with 1 finger and use another finger to take the screenshot through assistive touch.

hmm seeing some of you mentioned about protecting the home button by activate the raise to awake function to minimize the numbers of pressing it. isn't that now our home button is no longer a physical button? it should be no problem compared to the generation before i7.

looks perfect. mine is black unit anyway. you can purchase it from Machines for RM94.

depends your usage. last time my i6 with low power mode (i play a quite batt-consumed game) and i have to charge 3-4 times per day. and now 8+ i only charge once a day, unplug around 11pm and with low power mode & still playing the same game + moderate usage daily, the batt level will left around 40% at 8-9pm next day.

from the battery life test by some reviewers, yes. 8+ > X > 8.

is the assistive touch no longer staying @ middle of the screen when you tap on it after updated ios11.1?

No, i didn't put any back screen cover. I'm an OCD and I already discovered a tiny micro scratch on the back right out of the box, but yet every single unit will have 1-2 micro-scratches so i didn't exchange it. there is no 100% scratchless glass (i meant micro-scratches which not visible with your naked eyes under most of the lighting condition). Micro-scratches on these glass can't be prevented no matter how much extra care you put on it. Mine is in soft coating casing (like the original apple silicon) since first day but after several weeks of usage, the back still appeared another tiny micro-scratch.

but if you really want to minimize the chance to get more micro-scratch, back screen cover is recommended. it is definitely insufficient if only case applied.

i did the same thing, from 6 to 8+.

worth and not worth. cz i6 definitely sufficient for normal daily use. like me i6 is sufficient but i just hand itchy and go & upgrade. if you got spare cash then is worth to upgrade cz it is much faster and comfortable to use (cz no need wait and any apps launched super fast).

just go to authorized service center (eg: machines klcc) and ask them help you to do the basic examination. they can run the examination for your phone through their macbook and show the various status/health for your phone. i did that last month, for my i6.

yup, the inspection is FOC, unless you want to replace new battery. you just need to take number and wait.

most important the phone suit you. doesn't matter "entry" or "high-end". i8 4.7" is definitely much comfortable to hold in hand and 1-hand use.

will it harm battery if leave the phone charge overnight? like sometimes forgot to unplug the cable.

same, upgraded from 6 to 8+. 6 is the slimmest & most light in weight in any iPhone up to date. so will really significant feel the difference when hold in hand.

for charger i will only use authentic and genuine charger, since the package always come with it, no need to buy cheap one.
