I mean if yr package qualifies for some channels, they appear only in new app, not in old.

Okay I said it too early, I was able to login, and thus I thought it is then ok.

But as soon as I try to play a video, it says I am rooted. And subsequently, it immediately says I am rooted. LOL.

Not sure if it was the same with old astrogo app but with new app, i am pleased to find lot of vod movies and tv shows even when i do not hv movies package.

HBO tv series all there, incl recent titles like Chernobyl, Warrior, True Detective, GOT.

With eng subs too.

Correct.. Which is why I've longtime ditched the older app in favor of the beta app.. Though GOT was available in the older stable app. I wouldn't watch there either.. Still haven't, too great to tahan such quality..

i also think there was GOT but not much else in the old app.
perhaps they incl all the HBO go vod in the new app but not the old one.
i'm curious if this is available for all users under any pack subscription or just some.

qualitywise, it's low bit rate 720/576, not as good as some other sources.
but good enough for quick access and casual viewing.

really, while i will not pay the high charges for decoder subscription, i dun mind paying for full astrogo packs if charges low enough, esp when shared with 4 users.
but they seem bent on decoder for primary users.

I too am not sure if it's available to all and or just hose who subbed certain packages. As a pal graciously shares his account with me. Yep, quality is no where close in comparison to what we can view elsewhere. Perhaps, they are still improving on that with the beta.

Yeah, me too.. I guess they are still making money to stick to this idea of decoder and dish is a must per account. See how long and if they want to innovate or not. Almost daily, there's at least one or more who keep asking how to get ehem Asterruk.. My issue and why I think they won't embrace the anyone with a streaming device can sub...is cost... If they can offer their entire list in FHD, for a similar price as Netflix's? I too won't mind subbing. I doubt that will happen.. Please please surprise us Astro..
