I bought one from Qoo10. But then when I try to verify the phone using the Mi Verification app, it stated that I'm not using a Mi phone at all.

Anyone of you faced this also? I want to return this phone to the seller if it's a counterfeit product.

Nope MiA1 doesnt have EIS. And it uses camera sensor from Omnivision, which is known to supply camera for midrange phone at best. I think last year's Sony IMX298 sensor on OP3 and zenfone 3 are much better than this.

I think it's a marketing ploy. They need to make a balance features becoz of other Mi smartphone devices.

Midrange at this price segment hardly comes with EIS.

Not sure if i can get use to stock android after using miui for so long

If want to compare with rn4 in battery life. Then rn4 same usage pattern and check battery left % at around 10pm is nr4 still hv 30% compare to A1 that left 9% in my case.

As for GPS lock at home. This morning try in kitchen. The Waze open up, after few second the map start turn and adjust the position . I consider it as manage to lock my house location already.
