I am currently using the rn4 4gb ram type. Actually I didn't feel slow on this phone. Mayb I not play games. I don see diff in the that I have and now use by my son .

The good about rn4 for my case is I no longer need to care battery left how many %. Sometimes I even let the phone become hotspot . I hope A1 will be the same

Order my first Google one like I last time bought my first goto g first generation. At least I feel this way.

for those that asking gps issue. my 1A don hv this problem, lock immediately. slightly fasster a bit compare with my redmi note 4. both actually also work well in gps.

1 night using experience :
gps ok
battery not as strong as rn4, due to small battery ? battery 1 midnight drop 10% in my case with data and wifi on and connected to wifi. that time was insert with dual sim card.

this morning take out 1 sim card and will see the battery result from that, battery charge back to 100% at 630am. see how it last tonight.

camara ok , slightly better then rn4. for this price range. i consider it as 1 of the value buy already. good job xiaomi.

an pure android with sd card support , i always dream with, as previously my nexus phone no sd card de.

sound / speaker i rate same as rn4

speed, well, of cos is fast. ram usage average 2.4g out of 3.5g, total 46 apps installed.

what i missed :
no dual apps , cant hv 2 whatsapp.
panel icon cant customize. with to have a short cut key to on off the sound .

what i gain : split screen. but unlikely will use as ince split, both screen is so small for a 5.5".

previously use rn4 avarage make 1 hours plus of phone call everyday. lets see how this phone last today. now already makes 30+ min call.

errrr.... why need gps lock inside the house. u mean car park ?

Typical stock android interface. Smooth . No lag. Good choice to upgrade from nexus 5 to this . More over comes with ad card. Hope more custom rom arrive then can preloaded with more function

The reason upgrade from nexus 5 one of cos to hv up to date software. Secondly is to have a nexus phone with good battery . Manage to get 3 hours of battery with around 2 hours of call and 50 min with waze.

If want to compare with rn4 in battery life. Then rn4 same usage pattern and check battery left % at around 10pm is nr4 still hv 30% compare to A1 that left 9% in my case.

As for GPS lock at home. This morning try in kitchen. The Waze open up, after few second the map start turn and adjust the position . I consider it as manage to lock my house location already.

U guys use the unlimited call plan got notice that when ur call reach 60m 1s the line will cut off ? I try few times already. It cut off every time 60m 1s

i just notice that google pin yin is installed, but i cant activated it. uninstall. it will ask for update. update then still the same, but it preloaded with india keyboard...

today just apply casing and temper glass. yeah. now can use the phone without worry much.

clear type casing with 4 side bump up . cost rm15, fully cover tempered glass rm10.

the casing stated as mi 5x, don worry, it fit well.

At Klang shop

i bought mine for 919, fully cover temper glass for rm10, casing for rm15. total damage = 944 only. wait for flash sales this coming 10.10 for 128gb sd card.

Phone bought from Qoo10. Tempered glass and casing from CKY shop at Klang perade. CKY also got sell accessories at lelong. But since I stay nearby there so I prefer get the accessories from their shop and they help me to apply tg.

i hv both now. and i rate both same / on par. if u think rn4 good then this is for u. for me both is so so.

What u guys think this phone and Samsung j7 plus ? Got budget around 1.3k to get a phone . Right now already HV A1.

Oh forgot to mention. I want a good camera phone in this price range
