Argg...just wish this come with slightly powerfull soc...like 630 or 660 perhaph....625...is just...huh...im now with 650 with stock android rom And im not very satisfied with the performance....just wish for something abit better...i think this was marketing move....if something like 660 performance sure gonna effect flagship sales...cuz many p will save money and get the midrange instead....thats why xiaomi put a reverse gear with the rn4 downgrade from 650 to 625...

NFC is not important, unless u r planning to use the phone to tap and pay like MaybankPay app.

same as saying camera is not important.

when android pay launch at malaysia, all cannot use.
when tng implemented, all cannot use

this is like how Singaporean iphone user suck thumb when android user can use it on MRT.

One of the key features of the device that Xiaomi is highlighting for the Mi A1 is the dual camera optical zoom. Xiaomi is using a system similar to the one used in the Xiaomi Mi 6; pairing a 12 MP, 1.25μm pixels, 26 mm equivalent f/2.2, wide angle camera with a 12MP, 1μm pixels, 50 mm equivalent f/2.2 telephoto camera to allow for seamless optical zoom as well as allowing for depth sensing effects like computational bokeh. The rear cameras will be able to record 4k, 1080p, and 720p videos at 30 Hz, as well as 720p slow-mo videos at 120 Hz. The front camera is a 5MP sensor with 1.12 μm pixels and an f/2 lens.

At 163 grams, the phone is a bit on the heavy side compared to the competition, as can often be expected with all-metal phones, but it isn’t large, measuring in at 155.4 x 75.8 x 7.3 mm.

If you really must have NFC, then you should be looking at other phones, not this one. This is meant to be the cheapest phone preloaded with pure stock Android OOTB. This is the closest thing to Pixel without the hefty price tag.
