well finally the guy who is reponsible to come n take my cheque is here. but boy was it a nightmare. so here's what happened:

2 plus the person called me say will come to my house before 5. i told her to call me when u r coming. then, my mom ask me 2 go 2 bank around 3 and so i went. then suddenly at around 3.15 my sis called me say some1 came to receive cheque. i didnt tell her anything cause she's still small. then no choice i have to rush back from bank.

i reached home around 3.45 and saw the guy with his motorbike outside my house. i said sorry and gave him the cheque. then i was suprised that when i ask for receipt as prove that i already gave the cheque he said dont have. i mean like wtf? this is my money man.. how can i trust 1 person who came with a normal t-shirt with a motorcycle? then I asked him to wait and i called the person who called me earlier and she say memang no receipt. no choice lor have to give u lor. then when i give that time he some more say: kalau tak caya tak payahla kasi.. i kenot say anything la..i just say sori sori then he go..now think back like wana fark him nicely!

just want to know that when using AC power and the battery no plug out izit ok? or plug the battery out better? if the notebook on 24/7 and using AC power then better plug the battery out?

i wrote to dell asia pacific sdn.

yeah i will call n complain tmr.. but then now oso dono my cheque will reach their hand onot..! btw this is just a company representing dell to collect cheques.. not dell itself

so ur saying i'm stupid? dude, i'm choosing one of the few options allowed by dell how can that be stupid? and pls get ur facts right man.. i suggest u call DELL now and ask how to pay by cheque.. they'll tell u the same method they told me.. now that's stupidity from u

and i didnt use credit card coz my parents don't trust online payment.

It's still my fault.too chicken to ask a sales rep for a bargain.    bt my SA vr politela.i think he noe i must be new at this or sumthing.so he didn't ask me to buy anything.he just asked:how r u going to pay? haha. by the way, guys, me paying thru cheque.my dad said sumthing abt paying in installments so that if anything spoiled, they will repair for u cos they worry u won't finish paying ur installments! And i went blur.. i just prefer paying one shot all.vr mafanla. anyways, since i was late in calling the guy today. he said i will have to wait till wed to reach him.

write a complaints letter to Dell and the respective courier company and demand for an apologize from both company

Email to simon_wong@dell.com and cc to all the respective ppl like ur SA , ur SA manager and the courier company

~edit~ (19.51) i hav the same problems wif u where the DHL company let my housemate to sign and take my consignment without my knowledge and i email my Dell Customer Care and complaint and even scolded her ... She phone back me and email to apologized about the incident and promised wont happended again...

I even think of lodge a police report where someone sign my urgent consignment and take it without my knowledge... I phoned them and DHL told me that my dad signed on the consignment where i m at Selangor and my Dad at Alor Star ....  

It is impossible for my dad who is at Alor Star that time to signed on it

Haha. I just called the guy. He was vr vr patient (even tho it's like after 8pm,and u noe they r supposed to finish work at 8pm).I ask him for freebies. which he won't give.cos he say vr good promo ad leh.bt he did say that if in future (as in a week after today's promo)they sell the laptop for cheaper ,dell will offer a refund.cool dude. i tabik him for being so patient with a girl who is almost hysterical(almost).Tabik man!

i definately will do so. thanks for the email, make things easier for me to complain. i hope i can get a free laptop or some freebies! muahahah. but i'll complain only after dell acknowledged that they received my cheque, i scared later complain the company purposely do something to my cheque

I got my 6400 last week after waiting for about 6 working days. It was my mom who received it cos I was working. Want to know do u guys receive a receipt? For me I just received 2 piece of A4 size paper like a checklist of what I should receive. But no proper receipt....apart from the online quotation they emailed me. cos wanna use the tax relief thingy next year mah
