Yeap, I know..but what to do..I think its still cheaper with a good intel core2duo processor and good graphic card...other brands need at least RM4k to have those two options...and somemore now DELL has 2gb promotion..so might as well buy now la..I really should have bought during PC FAIR..the thing is..my 1st lappie got stolen after PC FAIR...so geram..haiz...stolen from car.. so now have to buy new one lo..somemore so ngam after PC FAIR...

i have to say something i've discovered about my 6400s....
ive finally managed to get the audio drivers installed...
and all i can say is that the sound from these built in speakers...
are amazing!!!!!!
its definitely not the quality i expected of laptop speakers...
thumbs up to dell!

I need some help. I want to connect the laptop to my tv. My 6400 has an s-video socket so I guess I get an s-video cable and connect it to the tv's s-video socket. But what about the audio? What kind of cable do i need?

I did some googling. A website mentioned a mini jack stereo to RCA audio cable. Is the audio out on the laptop 3.5mm?

why the hassle though? i use my computer speaker and let it blast while connecting to tv

u can get the rca to 3.5mm coverter for rm1-2 in an elcetical shop..
and then use the rca cables from ur astro? aha.. and plug in..

or maybe you could just buy a new set of rca cables..

anyway guys, how long can ur battery can stand? on average foruming+music uses?

and is it advisable to plug in battery when using the ac adapter? (after charge complete of course)

Yalo..what a pity..my previous model was a Toshiba Satellite..but it was already 5 years old..lucky me..lol.. if it was just a 1 year old laptop i would anyway..time to change the laptop so I got a DELL lo..since its the cheapest and gave me what I wanted..

wimpy mah compared to tv speakers.

Just realised that laptop is 7 pin s-video while tv is 4 pin. Can you plug 4 pin connector into 7 pin socket?

Notebook speaker wont great untill where..becuz they dun have subwoofer..only treble sound The best still desktop or external speaker.

anyway is there a slot for us to use external speakers that is not usb? the one where we must plug in thru sound card.. donno what is that cable called
