I experience a very very very very very very bad service today, yesterday when i order my 6400 at the PC Fair, someone by the name Quinn attend to me and recieve my order. She said my order will be process today(monday) and i will be billed today. But until now 4.15pm, i didnt recieve a single email or call from DELL. My collegue ordered last midnite online, also got the order confirmation already, but i got nothing. Called 5 times today to DELL, and that Quinn is kept engaged on the line, from morning till now (4.15pm), they had been giving me the same answer (Quinn will call u back soon). I am getting really really upset at this kind of service from that Quinn. I just ask a single question, when will my Credit Card be billed, coz i need to transfer some money.

juz ask other ppl serve u ....2day will be the last day ....

and do remember to complaint to her Manager ....

make sure tis kind of SA wont appear in Dell anymore....

She contacted me already, and she said she have not process my order, my order will be process tomorrow morning...
Haih...my fren order online yesterday midnite also process liao..mine not even process...

u paid by Credit Card? my dad paid with his CC and within 5 mins the bank called to ask for confirmation...

This is because you paid over the counter right at PC fair...i just hand in the form to Quinn, she do manual for me so that i no need to Q up..they have not charge me also

Easily can be solved. Get her email, write down black and white that you want to cancel the order immediately since have not yet charge on your credit card. Remember to carbon copy and loop their manager inside. Don't use call because you don't have proof.
They always said will charge manual due to their internal comission. Those are new agent mostly.

Another sales representative Amy Chow did this to one of my order also. If you heard her name you can hang up the call and call other sales rep. thumbup.gif

Those agent are the black sheep of Dell ....anyone mind to Email Micheal Dell to complaint bout it .... brows.gif

I also got few name of Technical Support guy ....which langsung dunno wat is pc 1.....wasted my 2 hours on BLUETOOTH only.... laugh.gif

The complaints do have merits, but please spare some thought for those working at Dell's booth yesterday.

I believe they worked until late yesterday night and then this morning would have to report back for work at Dell Penang. I also believe there are a lot of orders for them to process, so please give them some leeway. If other days also service like that, then yes complain to their manager.

I placed my 6400 order yesterday noon at the booth with Daniel and no problem at all.

Well that's not the main reason actually. Their sales rep only focus on sales only, any issue they don't really care especially after sales service. That's why their customer care dept. now is over 200ppl just to handle their sales shit. laugh.gif

Btw, pc fair at kl cheaper than online one?Got extra discount or free gift? If not why need to queue and to buy?

New update on Inspiron 6400:
If you want to buy laptop on I6400, buy now because tomorrow price is RM2699 (today price RM2599) and no free upgrade to 1024MB for basic spec on 1st selection there. I do prefer get the 2nd selection on promotion. Besides many promotion offer will be removed. smile.gif

That name sounds familiar...if I'm not mistaken she was my SA when I bought my 6400 during the last PC fair as well..and I experienced the same thing as you. Said she'll send someone to pick up the cheque but no one came and I had to call Dell...and they'd say Quinn is on the phone. But she finally got back to me and sent someone to collect the cheque the next day.

me on sunday...think it'll take some time since a lot of orders were made during PC fair..
can see many ppl at the DELL booth...since they offer quite a good spec on a tight budget...
hope it'll be asap...can't wait to play with it...my first lappy...
