Warriors' Davis, Jackson ejected from Game 2 vs. Mavs
Golden State guard Baron Davis was ejected with 0.2 seconds left in the third quarter of Game 2 against Dallas on Wednesday night, then teammate Stephen Jackson joined him later in the fourth quarter, both for getting two technical fouls. Both got their first technical midway through the third quarter during an incident that started with Mavericks guard Jason Terry bumping into Jackson, then Davis. Davis picked up two personal fouls early in the game, but didn't have another until the third quarter. He got two only minutes apart after the technical, then got his fifth personal for a mid-air collision while defending Dallas' Jerry Stackhouse in the final second of the quarter. Davis jumped up angrily and teammate Al Harrington grabbed the waistband of his pants, stretching it to pull him back in hopes of calming him down. He ended up going over to the bench, smiling and clapping. Coach Don Nelson motioned for him to calm down, even saying, "Don't do that," but it was too late. Official Bennett Salvatore hit Davis with his second technical, an automatic ejection. ![]() This post has been edited by EroS: Apr 26 2007, 01:58 PM |

QUOTE(EroS @ Apr 26 2007, 02:00 PM) they are showing the lame detroit match IIRC..do Astro know what they are showing?Added on April 26, 2007, 3:43 pm QUOTE(EroS @ Apr 26 2007, 11:59 AM) How much more can Bryant take? any championship contending team needs two stars and odom is not half a star..It was the darkest moment of a quarter blackened with shame. With 4:32 remaining in the second period Tuesday, Kobe Bryant drove through three Phoenix Suns before being fouled in front of the basket. It was the kind of tough play the Lakers had been avoiding. It was the sort of effort the Lakers had been missing. Yet as Bryant walked to the foul line, he walked alone. No teammate slapped his hand. No teammate patted his back. No teammate even behaved remotely like a teammate. Not only didn't the Lakers seem to care about the Phoenix Suns, they didn't seem to care about each other. And after their awful 126-98 loss to the Suns in Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs, falling behind two-games-to-none with no hope in sight, you have to wonder. With the Lakers seemingly destined to be sent home without a playoff series win for the third consecutive year since the departure of Superman, where does this leave Wonder Boy? Full Story TRADE..ok i know i am childlish and petulant but apart from farmar, walton (a fit walton), and odom (as a teammmate not a star), the others are crap. bynum? needs to LEARN A LOT This post has been edited by kobe8byrant: Apr 26 2007, 03:43 PM |

Well I haven't watched the Mavs-Warriors game 2 but apparently people are claiming that Mavs had an advantage due to alot of really bad/biased calls against the Warriors. Might be Cuban bribing the refs

Bryant has odd answer to inquiry
Kobe Bryant's ankle is fine, by all accounts, but Bryant seemed in danger of straining his neck when he did a double take in response to a reporter's question after practice Wednesday. Given all that the Lakers have endured, mostly in terms of injuries and inconsistent defense, does Bryant believe that the Lakers still have time to reach another level in this playoff series against Phoenix? "Another level above this one?" Bryant said. "(Shoot), if we can't put it in second gear brother, we stink. You know what I'm saying? Because we're just playing bad. There's another level that we can get to, and (in Game 3), I'm sure everybody will be excited and energized to be playing at home." If so, Bryant may have to carry an even heavier burden than usual. Bryant gave the Lakers a scare when he collided with Suns guard Leandro Barbosa in the fourth quarter of Game 2 and limped off the court with a mild sprain to his right ankle. Asked about finding the correct role for Bryant, Jackson indicated that he's ready to make it The Kobe Show for the entire game. "I might just have to run him 48 minutes (in Game 3)," Jackson said. "He might just have to find his spots (to rest) on the floor rather than taking him off the court." Full Story This post has been edited by EroS: Apr 26 2007, 06:05 PM |

Might be Cuban bribing the refs Hey it just might be true because Mark seems to be very passionate about the team. Remember how happy he is when Dalllas became the conference champions! And he even got a penalty (not sure bout the amount) for complaining about the referee-ing! |

Whats the point of copy&paste-ing those articles here anyway. If u've got something to say then say it. I'm sure if someone wanna read some nba related article they would have just go to nba.com. What you want ppl to say? What reply are u expecting from that article? Like this "OH OH OH YALOH YALOH MAVS FIGHTING BACK MAN!" ?
