Let's guess who will win in tml match (24/4 in USA):
Los Angeles Lakers @ Phoenix Sun(Astro got showing tis match at ESPN 10.30a.m)
New Jersey Net @ Toronto Raptor
Miami Heat @ Chicago Bull
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4 me it's a good match btw Lakers & Suns. But dunno Lakers can crush Suns or not ?? Maybe can ?? Maybe cannot ??
Second match, of course is Nets winlah....
Third match, i think Miami can win it gua....

Erm.. actually she uses a spring to jump up. I've seen this a lot of times during half-time matches. Sometimes even the mascot also do the slams. Its really hillarious but the girls coordination is actually quite amusing. The 1st girl jump and throws up the ball then the 2nd girl jump and catch then throw up the ball again, then the 3rd girl slam it down.

Toronto Raptors head coach Sam Mitchell has been named the winner of the Red Auerbach Trophy as the NBA Coach of the Year for the 2006-07 season, the NBA announced today.

In his third season as the Raptors' head coach, Mitchell totaled 394 points, including 49 first-place votes, from a panel of 128 sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada. Utah Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan was second with 301 points (39 first-place votes) and the Dallas Mavericks' Avery Johnson was third with 268 points (28 first-place votes). Coaches were awarded five points for each first-place vote, three points for each second-place vote and one point for each third-place vote received.

Mitchell, the first coach in Raptors history to receive the honor, led the Raptors to their first Atlantic Division title and a franchise-record-tying 47 wins. The sixth head coach in franchise history, Mitchell guided the team to an NBA-best 20-game improvement (27-55) over the 2005-06 season. The Raptors were 30-7 this season when they scored 100 or more points and 38-4 when they had a better (or same) field goal percentage than their opponents.

How in the world did Sam Mitchell got the title of Coach of the Year! Gosh! Are the voters blind or just plain ignorance. There was so much frantic about Mitchell last season coaching and even the season b4 that, and now the easy-handedly honor him with the award. Great!

After watching the 1st game of Raptors vs Nets, i can confidently say that Raptors can get into the playoffs is because of TJ Ford and probably the early matches where Garbajosa was still healthy. It is all the contribution of the GM (forgot his name) but then he shift from Phoenix over to the Raptors.

Jeff Van Gundy got robbed!!!!

Yao and Tmac played together for only 41 games and Houston have the 5th best record in the league and JVG comes as no.4?? How could that possibly happen??

I couldnt judge much from just 1 game but then as i can see in the 1st game.. TJ Ford was really very impressive. The others are pretty not-up-to playoffs standards, they just lack the aggressiveness in them.

If a few more person dares to step up and take charge, i am sure the Raptors will be a very strong team. Not just Bosh, not just Ford, but need at least another player to be more offensive.
