^ this ftw. Ignore the guy la, just because he thought he was good he can simply jump on ppl. Says alot abt his attitude. I have to give credit though, he looks good with 6 pack abs, BUT only when he's nekked. With clothes on, he doesn't look like he lifts.
Enough of rant, please read up on the foundation of weight loss, here are some pointers to Google: caloric deficit, tdee, setting up macros ratio.

If you are serious, go read stickies. I really don't wanna repwat what is already there.
Thank you. I have actually read the stickies just now, I am supposed to be sleeping but since I am quite overwhelmed with other activities and jobs, barely got time to do so. Which is why I am still awake now.
Ok, I understand your answer about no need for whey protein and go for macros.

If i get RM 1 everytime i say this I could have bouvght a bungalow in Cheras. Calorie in < calorie out for fat loss. There you go. The only information that you need.
This is exactly what I am following actually haha.
My current objective is simple, I am a foodie, so i am born to eat. I don't like been restricted down to anything. Yea, I also lazy to calculate calories

So, for some reason.. i figured that if I eat a lot for my brunch, and just have light meal for dinner like milo with biscuits (yea, i knew all these sugary biscuits got lots of calories) , then I will slim down.
And since 2016 , I had slimmed down a lot. From 89kg to 77kg and everyone noticed i had slimmed down. That's why the makcik sell rice for me, shocked and wondered how i slimmed down, because she saw me ate a lot in lunch. Even my colleagues also was like, Mas, you eat a lot .
My size is quite similar to this dude. Before and After.
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=86171228Few months ago, I began to go gym. Now my aim is to maintain my way of eating but to continue to slim down by increasing activities, I got my exercises from my karate training. So I wanna tone up my muscle (opps into the muscle toning topic, but it's necessary for me to explain) .
My idea is, increase muscle mass equals to burn more calories. Burn more calories equals to slimming down.
Now the problem is, when i heard the thingy called fat burner, i was interested. Because I want to burn the fat down faster since I am toning my muscle. Got abs.. got nice figure, who don't want?
Then, the side effect seem to be a lot. There are a lot of different kinds and fat burner is to increase metabolism and can be very heaty.
SO when fat burner out, next thing in the list is Whey Protein.
This is because I noticed even though I have been going to gym, i found that my muscle seem to be take more time to tone up. Even my friend said that. Hence he suggested whey protein to expedite the toning process.
I figure if it can expedite means it increase the muscle mass faster hence burn calories faster and so on.
So now I understand where you coming from

My advice. Count ur calories. Adjust. Train hard with beginners programme. Now im bulking at 2600kcal and all those 6 packs intact with 8 packs showing ocassionally if i take less carbs the night before.
And also, my first set of 6 packs, I did not do any abs related exercise. Just heavy squat heavy deads tightening my whole kinetic chain through my training.
Additional calories will be converted into fats. So if didn't do macros and consume whey may eventually lead to increase of calories intake which resulted having the opposite effect from my initial goal.
By the way, when you said you got those 6 packs , without doing any abs related exercise, is it nicely toned 6 packs? Or just like everyone else.. got 6 packs visible on the tummy but yea .. just like that . My apology for going out from the topic but since we are here , might as well just ask.
Conclusion, tomorrow I will explore myfitness apps. I had done the IIFYM thingy. I chose I work as those office job (which I am but I also went to meet clients sometime and need to carry heavy boxes.)
Protein Grams: 146
Fat Grams: 68
Carbs Grams: 174
Fiber Grams: 25-34
When all of these macros are added up, you get a total of 1893 calories.
These calories are based on your personal TDEE, which the IIFYM Calculator estimated at 2227

I kinda agree with you bro, when he build up his muscle doesn't mean he can be *sshole to everyone... Btw for fat burner maybe can try out Grenade Thermo.
thank you. Currently decided not to go for fat burner, don't like its side effect haha.
Nevertheless, thank you everyone who had contributed to this thread.
