New toy...Panasonic TX-32LX800MK

Got it from Mr. iamsobloodysick. Free hdmi cable, car sunscreen and trunk organizer. Very smooth deal. Put order yesterday, delivered to my house today. Can't be better than that. Recommended seller

Only 32" for my bedroom so nothing to brag like 50" plasma . Currently connected is astro thru cap ayam s-video cable , cap ayam dvdp from carrefour using cap ayam component cable and my trusted PC using vga cable.

First impression PQ can't beat my sony 40" but my sony all connected to high end gadgets with hdmi and very good cables all around. So wait till I get my hand on proper cables before passing final judgment.

Actually BD player is on top of my list but somehow I got another lcd tv first ...duh

If I have a nice pad and a big HT room, I will definitely buy a popcorn machine. Install curtain to cover the screen. When I pop in the BD, the curtain will automatically open, and light will dim automatically

Guys want to ask, after all the research and also with budget in mind,

There are two models which is very near and very close towards each other in all the specs, LG and Panasonic won on the ipod dock, and Pioneer won on the more supported format, however Panasonic and Pioneer heard was won on the image )These 3 models got very high rating in all the AVS forum rating format

well thought out list there bmipp, and i say this as u've included LG, as most will probably not include LG due to some stereotypes, but infact some of LG's stuff is quite good.. kk now on to ur q, from your list, the Pioneer wins on looks.. however the machine is quite weak in total (360watt only).. with the other two doing 1000w..

now with ur budget in mind, may i suggest a 4th option? LG HT762TZ http://www.testfreaks.co.uk/home-cinema-systems/lg-ht762tz/

now this htib is not only favoured, but also got selected to be the best htib in wired magazine this year. i have this one and honestly, its one of the clearest sound ive ever heard from an htib..

Hi, do you mind to share the price that you purhcased for LG HT762TZ. I m also looking for a HT system in my bedroom

wall mount purchased separately....anyway, where i got these might not help you that much.....we're probably located in different continent.

I'm at Penang, and I'm having problem getting a nice projector wall screen here... it's ok if ur info can't help me much... A shop that selling office stuff here in Penang is selling 8feet x 8feet projector wall screen (dunno what brand) at rm488 without delivery, my car cannot carry it too so I didn't buy....

Tat one is for multimedia presentation .. u want 16:9 screen for HTla.. For dat u nid to look for it in Hifi shops, u can try Watts or Hifi choice but its all expensive la..

yeah those 1:1 screens are meant for multimedia presentation. those hifi stores would definitely have these retractable screens. if your 8'x8' is a fixed screen...there's no way any car can fit...unless you have a pickup truck or a van. my draper just fit into my car...

i suggest u dont get retractable screens.. i heard problems with this and some can leave unwanted bumps.. look at how dirtrun make his screen.. very nice~ built in the wall.. fix screen is nice and u can even diy it which means good for the wallet..

Retractable screen is cool if u get de powered ones n it cums down from de ceilin .. but u r rite retractable screens normally hv 'tension' prblms later - waves n all tat..
