From reading the forums I see a lot of people buy from monoprice. I think someone here also bought from there. Might be the cheapest alternative.

I think it is mpyw. But, he told me that a few of it didn't last long sweat.gif Kimber banana plug ok?

jchong, since you are going to repair your special OTO SE, you can ask abt their AN banana plug. I think it is a dizzying RM50/plug.

Kimber looks solid but I don't like the idea of only 1 grub screw unless you have good hand with solder.

This one looks good enuf if you want them cheap....Nakamichi....plus got 2 grub screws more secure.

Asking is no problem... buying is the problem! tongue.gif

At RM50 each, cost of the plugs will outweigh the cables. Anyway, I'm using bare wire connection now. But if I ever decide to use bananas I still have a few pairs of bananas from Monitor Audio (leftover from earlier years). Nice solid pieces.

I have a few exactly like that Nakamichi one, except the jacket is plain and doesn't say Nakamichi. Yes, quite secure since it has 2 grub screws. But much more lightweight than my MA bananas.

This one seems ok but "Easy fit for wire size up to 4mm"? isn't it very thin wire?

For a RM50 a plug I rather go CMY and ask them to crimp Airloc banana. If I still remember correctly, it should cost less than RM50 a plug.

Those ebay Nakamichi banana all same la. Just the body different. I prefer plastic body for security reason. If it crack later can just take it out n use heat shrink instead....or simply buy some more coz they are cheap tongue.gif

I am also thinking about the Kimber's banana plugs.
If there are spades, I will also consider.

AN banana plug is very expensive here.
Over in Lion City, AN is selling at SGD15 each.
