32" LG
Yamaha V663 Amp
Monitor Audio BR2 Fronts
Mordaunt Short 905i Centre
Monitor Audio BRW10 Sub
Philips 5996K DVDP
QED Silver Anniversary XT for Fronts
QED 25th Anniversary Special for Centre
QED Qunex 2 for Sub

Alot more room for improvements i guess..

Overall pretty satisfied with my setup.. It's a good place to start too smile.gif

Now for those missing surrounds.. hmm.. any ideas ?

You sure never blast your speakers before.
For me, I don't think I can finish 1 movie without getting any of those small bottles of liquor dropping...

Should it be better u put the LCD in the middle and the tv at the side...or because u need the tv to hold the center speaker?

I need it to hold the center speaker, if not it will be too low between the left & right channel.

He being the water cow, i the goyang kaki type no need to pay but got to enjoy. the water cow first started with room 2 (8x16' too small) back few years ago with sony 3 big cannon(crt type). Kind of up and down hobby. Got ELECTROCUTED at last A/V show and BANG here comes another project for another bigger av room. (Room 1 size 11x20'). NOW my next target to poision him 2.35 screen with anamorphic lens (still very exp. for the lens eventhough economy slowdown.)

Added on May 5, 2009, 8:57 pmhave any of the members went for PMC loudspeaker demo? Those entry level ( KECIL MOUSE) sound very very powerful. If you were to listen or in a demo (with row of small and big loudspeakers together) you will never able to figure the sound were from those mini cooper! Went for demo already few times cannot tahan lagi. The sound is very bright and smooth and never sound harsh. Thus its very wide too.sounds like kind of in a big hall. About price? Well you guy better check those What Hifi mag! all 5 bintang!

eugene, I suggest you tilt your centre speaker slightly upwards to aim at the listeners. It makes a lot of difference.

This is my current setting. I have been searching high and low for the Flexible wall mount at cheaper price, electrical shop all selling ranging from RM RM 550 - RM 850 excluding installation. Finally I found this at a more competitive price. I am staying in a Condo which my dining room link with my living room. I like to watch TV while having lunch or dinner. So this is the solution for me. This wall mount allows me to extend about 60cm from Wall so that my LCD TV can turn 90 degree to the left or right.

If anyone of you looking for this as well, can check out my post. Thanks.

BTW i DIY myself to install this wall mount. Its easy. Cheers. Call me if you want to find out more. 0129706933.

LCD TV : Panasonic 42" Full HD LCD TV
AMP : Marantz SR 4600
Surround Speaker : Some Cheap Brand 5.0, Sourcing too.
Woofer : Still Sourcing - Any recommendation? Budget about 1k.
HTPC : My clone PC
DVD Player : Philip DVD with HDMI output
