3600 got 2 versions. One is windsor 3600 , another one is brisbane 3600

Windsor 3600 == 90nm, 2.0Ghz, 256kb x2 L2 cache
Brisbane 3600 == 65nm, 1.9Ghz, 512kb x2 L2 cache

brisbane is a gem of processor below Rm300...coz it easily oc to 3ghz...

However, for budget below Rm450...get Intel E4300 which perform much higher after oc...

I think options for S939 are pretty limited. S939 cpus are rare and more expensive compared to AM2.

I guess for S939, it would be better to get a new platform. If you are sticking with HT, I think Agena or Kuma on AM2+ would be good (but have to wait, like 6 months??)..

some say AM3 will be out in2008..a big lost there to build new now..will stick to s939 now..
