QUOTE(silrave @ Jun 14 2018, 09:59 PM) Guys i saw intel 760p 250gb price 468 Is it a good timing to purchase it ? I am thinking 760p or samaung 960 evo 250gb imo a good timing depends on the answer to the question, 'do i need it?'

QUOTE(silrave @ Jun 17 2018, 04:36 AM) i think not nvme ssd i cant utilize it but just wanna test the new nvme tech since long time ago yeah it's good to have one; they are relatively faster, depending on what you do with it however if you used it just for normal usage, it's a waste actually

Bought this ssd from China, price is much cheaper compared with our local pricing but of course need to compromise the warranty part which might be hassles if something happened. Attached thumbnail(s)

(5+ years; mostly mlc drives) none of them have issues so far.

The temperature really quite hot eventhough i have installed the heatsink but it still reached around 46 degree, can't imagine if without heatsink , is it normal for nvme ssd?

I used it for system drive only, then i shouldn't be worried so such about the temp. Thanks bro for sharing the info

Thanks bro for sharing the info yeah it should be all good with a passive heat sink i should probably settle with a 500gb also. currently my os drive has a lot of space. (only occupy 30+ gb in total, OP at 20%)
