Guys i saw intel 760p 250gb price 468
Is it a good timing to purchase it ?
I am thinking 760p or samaung 960 evo 250gb
*
imo a good timing depends on the answer to the question, 'do i need it?'

yeah it's good to have one; they are relatively faster, depending on what you do with it smile.gif

however if you used it just for normal usage, it's a waste actually

Bought this ssd from China, price is much cheaper compared with our local pricing but of course need to compromise the warranty part which might be hassles if something happened.

nice smile.gif

i think you don't need to worry about warranty. i use a lot of their oem and retail drives from various sources for many years already. (5+ years; mostly mlc drives) none of them have issues so far.

Great! rclxms.gif .By the way this is first time i'm using nvme ssd, previously all were sata. The temperature really quite hot eventhough i have installed the heatsink but it still reached around 46 degree, can't imagine if without heatsink doh.gif , is it normal for nvme ssd?

yes normally it's hot without heat sink. i use an adapter with passive heat sink for me also haha (about 35c idle, 45c under loads)

it really depends on usage. for general use, the temperature of ssd is still below 70c.

for game files and applications, large capacity sata ssds are still good.

i should probably settle with a 500gb also. currently my os drive has a lot of space. (only occupy 30+ gb in total, OP at 20%)
