Just bought Samsung evo 860. Just found rhe ssd 7mm, my laptop is 9mm..where to get/buy the spacer? I can't find it at Msia online store or any pc shop at my area.

hm do you really need a spacer for this? which part is making it impossible to install without spacer?

My laptop hard drive slot is slot in type, it's 9mm, no adapter , no screw type
Will floating if insert 7mm sdd.

wow they do this in laptops?

not sure where to get these spacers locally sorry. however you can use foam to fill the gap up i think.

Anyone know of a good budget m.2 2280 ssd to act as a boot drive for my laptop? Preferably a 120GB one.

I saw those Transcend MTS820S and WD Green but I'm not sure if either of those are good.
