ssd plus 960gb ~ RM599 Crucial mx500 1Tb ~ RM750+ Samsung Evo 860 1Tb ~ RM900+ look like the price will go down some more next year once qlc mass production... |

I still using 2nd generation i7 laptop.......just upgrade to 960gb sata ssd ....cheap cheap....
so now boot drive is 128gb msata (SATA2), 960gb SATA (SATA3) for my VMs... buy no cache one around RM300 (USD75 including shipping from Aliexpress) another RM190 for 2*8gb ddr3 (RMB305 including shipping from taobao) Total damage = RM500 fast enough compare to my old WD black hdd......boot up vm like fly... |

Aliexpress got 328 promotion.....if you don't mind those cap ayam brand
ranging from USD70 ~ USD90 for 960Gb SATA...... QLC is starting to show..... still waiting for 2tb ssd....cheapest so for around USD180+......waiting to drop to USD150.... i just grab one 960gb SATA... |

better upgrade RAMs as well now.....
is not the lowest for ddr4 ram but ddr3 ram is reaching the lowest...grab all those 8gb ddr3 to fill up all the empty slots now... |
