Get whichever cheaper or warranty claim easier for you.
At the end of the day,
1. It is SSD and faster than most HDD (feel like day and night)
2. Like above said, entry level are all the same anyway.

Bought EKWB M.2 heatsink from lingloong yesterday, my Adata SX8000 temperature drop from 54c to 38c. Damn good. However it does not fully fit the ssd as i only can use a single clip on it.

nice. just make sure the contact between the heat sink and controller is good (usually this is the hottest part in the ssd), the rest should be ok.

Anyway, for some reason i get unstable write speed from crystaldisk. Sometime it goes 1000mbps, sometime 300mbps. Read speed is stable, only write speed. This is nothing to do with the heatsink, any idea why?

maybe it's the controller, sm2260 from silicon motions. (i think sx8000 has dram)

intel 600p uses the same controller without dram. bad results.

well it's the internal part of the ssd. it's hardware, so i think there is nothing you can do about it.

run the clear apps cache, clean up unuse files all those stuff around few mb or kb jer...its like a habit....
if i dun clear it ,i felt my ssd like dirty felling 🤔
*
oh that will consume a few mb or kb for each cleanup. technically speaking yes it will shorten shelf life but realistically, not really that significant.

well, there is no need to do that so often.

ok.i really need to stop doing that....or maybe once a day is enuf haha.
*
haha you should. they're cache. it's their job to be stored so that they can be served as cache smile.gif

you should turn them off if there are options for that, or move the cache location into hdd or ramdisk. (i use ramdisk to store my web browser cache; so they will be automatically cleared when i do a reboot)
