i mean which model? which form factor? is it in a laptop or a desktop?

it's not supposed to get so hot for normal usage.

you can try put a laptop cooler under the laptop. see if it helps. however the better option might be servicing your laptop's cooling system.

uh? in this case, you might need some pro helps to do this then.

which laptop model are you having? actually some laptops come with service manuals that you can refer to for self-service. i only get laptops that come with service manuals that include proper disassembly steps, so that i can mod and service them hehe

Hehe.. I am using Vaio, almost 5 years already.. maybe I just don't do anything about it.. almost time to change laptop

oh. that's a long time without servicing. yeah that's one way to get rid of the problem haha

actually with proper servicing, i think it can still last for a while (another few years at least). functional but old computers, although not fit for current desktop workloads, can always be repurposed.

120gb ssd for desktop usage...between kingston A400 and liteon MU3, which one is recommended ?
liteon MU3 seems to have higher read/write performance against kingston A400..

these are entry-level ssds. just get the one that you prefer more.

Get whichever cheaper or warranty claim easier for you.
At the end of the day,
1. It is SSD and faster than most HDD (feel like day and night)
2. Like above said, entry level are all the same anyway.
