Ouch..I need to send it back to Rodalink for servicing if thatโ€™s the case. The handle post also a bit loose d. Got minor play.  Mileage around 90km only. Bought just before MCO. I never posted pictures of it here.. might as well.

Saddles are subjective. What works for me might not work for you kind of thing.  sweat.gif
So if possible, get your sit bones measured and find a saddle width that fits you at a shop.

You can also DIY at home.
Using cardboard.

Using your kid's Play Doh or something similar.

Then invest in a good saddle and cycling pants (with gel inserts if you choose).

Thanks for the sharing. Will measure my own sit bones tongue.gif

When you buy a saddle, if possible, invest in a bit more for something that won't make your bums hurt after cycling.
I'm using this Selle SMP gel saddle and IMHO, it's worth every single sen. nod.gif moneyflies.gif

like all they said before,. saddle are subjective. however fizik does come a concept to determine what saddle are good for u

user posted image

i know fizik saddle are a bit expensive, but u have an option such as selle royal or fabric that priced a bit lower than fizik and nearly identical to fizik design.

It's OK investment if the saddle fits you and gives you comfort. nod.gif

I've seen some using Berk carbon fibre saddle with zero paddings and they said it's comfortable for them.

good article. check this out as well https://paniaguaracing.wordpress.com/2015/0...s-damon-rinard/

originally written by cervelo and posted on their website. can't find it anymore. after i read that article, i went and get spez toupe. flat n minimal padding. loved it. way more comfortable than fizik arione.

actually, the spine concept from fizik doesnt meet 100% requirement for any of us. some may need to experiment, try & error.

as for me, not all arione i can used.
the arione cx does gave me a pain after 100km, but arione r5 or r7 gave me comfort event though after 160km. the other arione model i never tried, becoz it was too expensive.

and sometimes, choosing the right and good bib/cycling pants do impact ur comfort. last time i used monton, when i used normal sized more pain for me. but if i down 1sized, it does comfort all day long ride.

IMHO,the best cheapest thing is to get good cycling pants. after that, u can invest on saddle. my friend using stock dahon saddle and can go audax 400km without any pain.
