I went back to a few pages of this thread only. I notice no one mentioned Mongoose. Is it not that good ? My budget is around 400-600. New or used.
Any recommendations ? I cycyle mostly in parks but every now and then I go a little crazy off road a little bit. All of these using O Bike which isn't very kind to the butt and also the ones I manage to find always have been vandalized. Smh. |

For 400-600 bike bramd doesn't really matters… mongoose usually comes with the wrong 3x7 speed gear train… front chain ring too small.

QUOTE(Raizzen @ Aug 27 2018, 04:24 PM) I went back to a few pages of this thread only. I notice no one mentioned Mongoose. Is it not that good ? My budget is around 400-600. New or used. Some of my friends rode mongoose for touring and climbing. Last week 2 of them using same brand to climb bukit jugra. No complaints from them about mongoose except for the squeaky sounds here and there after few rides. Well, you pay peanut, got peanut la. 😂Any recommendations ? Mongoose use MTB crankset, too small for anything other than climbing vertical walls.

Stop admiring your bike, it's no good sitting there, take it out for a spin! |

This may sound a little silly.
I need some advise on the best way to transport folding bikes by car? I carry two 20inch foldies in my proton iriz, they both fit in upright position, but very unstable. Is there any accessory i can buy to make them more stable? I had to lay them flat to stop them from moving so much. Not sure if this will cause any damage. Thank you! |
