Wow. good to have friends inside HP. I got mine from HP employee purchase at price 1k less than market price last time. However he is not my friend, and earn quite an amount by selling to me.

Here is my Vista upgrade pack. Looks pretty simple, 2 DVDs + booklet but yet to install it. Anyone had tried?

Go 7200 is only having 32MB dedicated memory but turbocached up to 256.... i gave up on the model since the dedicated memory of the GPU a bit low..... if it has better dedicated memory i have long get it, 3,399 last time with the backpack.. anyway im satisfied with this newer model, with 7400, although a bit more expensive.

I did not get any CD too. Those DVDs are Windows Vista Express Upgrade kit, in which the OS is offered by Microsoft, and HP responsible for the drivers and utilities since current drivers in my pavilion does not support Vista. Anyway, it is not free, I paid USD 19.99 for delivery charge of the kit.

Confirmed..? I thought you're meaning DV6227tx issit..? But there's a Core Duo processor....really faced soo much of circumtances...Should i value the processor more than a graphic card..? Sacrificed Graphic card for a better processor..?

You upgraded to Vista from MCE itself or did a clean installation?

Did the system offer repartition options during the upgrade?
