Ooops .What I meant is camp there during HP, UP or MP block. At the very least can get 1 short trip ping per hour, can get gross RM30 already. Better than being in KL during that peak time and rider keep cancel. Later get love letter from Grab. Because rider cannot wait and cancel also is you the driver's fault!

Take it with a pinch of salt. Better you open rider app and check the fares, see surge how much? You can be in red area but surge maybe 1.2x only.

My Waze on my Redmi 4A keep losing GPS connection. Nothing wrong with the GPS actually, Grab can still lock my position, but Waze seems like can't receive the GPS data from the OS when I switch windows. And sometimes Grab cannot send "I'm Here" message. Receive "Not connected" notification. Have to restart the apps then only can.

But Uber no problem, it remains connected. But Waze still a problem with Uber, still lose GPS connection. I think need to roll back to the factory OS version.

Personally, I feel that Grab's upper management is in on this modded app thing. And I mean, waaaaayy up in their management.

So what if let a few drivers get huge incentives or yerpot trips but the dirty money flow directly into their pockets?

To show their investors that they are not paying too much incentives, they just need to axe the drivers who didn't cheat. Like what's happening now. Rider cancel also driver's fault. And hey, there's no guarantee that you won't get banned or suspended if you use modded apps. Just like how MPs pay duit kopi but still kena raided sometimes. Once in a while need to show the public that they are doing their job...

Maybe one day if the investors change the upper management, maybe we will see some good changes. Maybe.

Another hypothesis is, Grab's founders are not tech people, so they have to rely on other people.. Whom they probably cannot trust... And you're right also. Seems that Grab's work culture is just really toxic. Maybe disgruntled staff just simply leak the source codes also...
