if in few month time i cant net rm200 a day( after deduct all with a total 10hour driving in the car exclude time to and back from klang to pj - which take 1hour ) , i think i would quit .

How much do you guys really earn a day for 10hour drive??? and do you guys really just drive 10hour ? i mean if include the road back and to home?

sometime the trip send you so far

and if using civic , i dont know what to say lols . even budget car cant earn that much.

Didn't someone told u do Grab as incentive player, sapu everything for the first 100 or 200 job to get a grip? at least won't lose much if u did that, instead u keep whining here and there.

I also not familiar with places like Kepong/Cheras/Ampang too, once a job come in i just follow Waze, it takes u few months to familiar with the highway, road and landmark.

There is one Saturday i remember start from Subang to Puchong, then to PJ, then to Bangsar, then to Batu Caves, then to KLCC, then to KLIA. Took a rest then continue at night time. All these are hardship we all went through, and then u expect us to spoon fed u?

Passenger get to car , I click pickup , then told me wrong drop off , I can't cancel.

If it's possible, many would still be driving for Uber as main source of income.
If it was last year, then possible.

Drive 50 hours maybe can get rm1000 lar.

i cant replicate the issue on my Driver app phone, so all this is from memory.

1. tap on the --.-- part.
2. it will show whatever Google ID logged in on your phone.
3. select the Google ID that you use to register your Grab Driver account. *THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT!*

also, FYI. I now drive during non-peak hours.
example my yesterday drive. start from 10.15AM to 2.15PM, then continue again from 9.45PM to 11PM. Already got > RM100 gross.

Being a newbie and expect to nett RM200 day by being choosy is a dumbass. Not familiar with everything yet but still ignorant to advise given previously. Be prepared to see he quits and fails to repay the HP loan.

how did he ever get a loan without a job? pity his guarantor if he went that route. these people are the scum of the Earth, better just to give then some welfare cash, at least save all the trouble to society.

True and well said, well, nowadays getting a HP loan is as easy as peanut, those car dealers are able to settle. Salary slip can simply get, even low salary also able to be granted loan more than their capability.

To earn 2k a week by driving uber alone....

Take 10-12 hours of driving for 7 consecutive days....

Average Net Collection need to be rm24-rm29 per hour.
Average Gross fare collected has to be btw rm32-rm39 per hour.

But i read the terms, road tax, maintenance and insurance borne by that Company, seem to me the only cost is rental and petrol only

but the earnings is just plain bullshit

If getting HP loan is so tough, why there are so many new cars on the road? And you think those new drivers all 99.99% afford to buy those cars?

Getting Mortgage /P. loan might not be easy. Opening of bank account & getting a credit card is also easy like HP. They ask a lot of questions due to Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process which is a due diligence process required by our dear regulator BNM. If you open account today and suddenly tomorrow got RM2.6bil credited to your account, don't you think you gonna get invited to MACC and probed by them?


I applied and gotten about 5 credit cards and not even a single call from those bank officers asking me questions here and there. So far HP loan also just call and verify that you are actually applying the loan for eg. What car model, cc, loan amount and blablabla...etc...

Aiyah people see posts from sifu's like you and monkeyboy(RIP), they think driving taxi is lucrative and senang way to makan gaji la $$$....they dont know the work involved.

On another note, the new Uber/Quick Ride partnership say minimum 30hrs driving...if like Grab ambasssador/Pro style, where its really you have to work the full hour every minute also counted...wonder how many can sustain. I see they charge daily $45/55 lease, exactly like teksi style. However I also see a lot of the red teksi drivers always resting on the side of the road/taxi stands chit chatting with each other....in a working day I wonder how many hours they are actually driving on the road fetching customer?
