when you opened your CIMB bank acct, did they ask for employment letter?

In 2006-2007, yes. When first time opened I gave those details.
But I haven't been asked to give the details since then.
Just hope it's a coincidence that they need to update my employment information and not because I used them to buy Luno crypto.

Edit: In contrast my Maybank account has more Luno transactions since 2017 but Maybank has never contacted me about my job.

Same. Maybank never asked me either.
Only happened with CIMB so far.

Using HSBC & UOB to top up my Luno. But my UOB got banned cos I cancel too many transactions after tapping the app to top up

Why btc price in Luno is much higher than other exchange like coinbase? The gap is about 2k.

kent2010 very common. so if u want to take advantage of price discrepancy, just transfer into luno and sell

Anyone still remember that few years ago, many users who withdrawn their fiat via Luno got their bank account closed.

And many made complains to Luno about this incident. Anyone still remember?

Yes & the most famous is the guy who lost 700k in his Luno account & Luno says they are innocent like Saints.

Constantly withdrawing is not safe at all which will lead the closure of bank acc if the bank suspects you leveraging with illegal financla scheme
