I fully support for Luno if they can reduce the trading fee from 1% to 0.2% permanently.

The reasons are
1. 1% is same as Remitano and Locabitocins
2. They prefer to stay with them rather than to trade in Luno

And the same time, Luno needs to improve on the deposit system so to have instant deposit feature.

Otherwise, you can't still beat Remitano wherby their daily volume is very high...

Example, 100 btc volume a day, Remitano earns 1% on it so is 1 btc.. this co belongs to Vietnamese and they earn 1btc per day from Malaysian.. wakkakakkkaa

I forgot to mention that Remitano was not popular at all before the Luno's case that their Maybank account was suspended and no trading was allowed.

Hence, Malaysian had no place to do trading and Remitano became popular since then.

Since Luno has obtained license from SC, Luno should do something to gain back the market share, because of such incident, Remitano "gained" from you.

Not 1998... is 2017 when Luno kena suspended by SC and BNM.

I really hope Luno can do something to gain back from Remitano.

Because I support our own profits given back to our own Malaysian, not them.

Too bad, no Malaysian are doing this p2p platform.

In Singapore, many of them are doing OTC trades whereby they meet live and face2face. So they can save from 1% trading fee and being involving in third party scams.

Is it ok if I deposit some money to Luno but end up withdrawing it later because I cannot get the price I expected? Do I have to make a minimum purchase or something like that?
*
Hi Canfloat,

Nope there's no minimum purchase for one to withdraw. It's just we charge a RM 0.34 per withdrawal.

Thanks!

Hi jack2,

We appreciate the feedback. Although we can't promise that we will maintain the takers fees at 0.2% after the 31st of March, what we can share for now is we're working on a long term plan that has a multi-pronged approach.

We can assure you that the team has had multiple touch points with our customers and are working on their wish list. As there are many moving parts, it will take some time but we can assure you that the things you've mentioned are being worked on.

Always feel free to reach out to us. We'd be glad to hear more of your thoughts!

They are far better than remitano which hires Nigerian as the support team and Vietnamese.

I m not racist but their support is the worst.

Remitano earns three types of fee and that fees are sucking blood:

1. Trading fee at 1%
2. Deposit fee: BTC 0.0002
3. Withdrawal fee: BTC 0.0002

In short, if someone wants to sell their Bitcoin, they have to deposit first. Hence, Remitano earns 0.0002 BTC.

Someone buys, earn the trading fee at 1% and he must be withdrawing to his own wallets or else, he is charged for 0.0002 BTC again.

Total fees spent for 1 circle = 1% + 0.0002 + 0.0002 = 1% + 0.0004 BTC.

At current rate of BTC = RM42,000, they earn

RM420 + RM16.80 per 1 btc.

If someone trades small small, their incoming is 1% + 0.0004 BTC
