LOL, TM contractors came at 3:30pm. Fixed everything. Tested speed, still 50mbps. He called TM, problem in the system, took everything back. Still on 50mbps. sad.gif

Half an hour ago, I got notified of an IP address change by my router

In other words, my PPPoE got disconnected and reconnected. Straight away go check my Speedtest. It seems like they're doing something.

Speedtest now shows 100/50mbps.
Ticket status are unchanged, the Modify Order ticket still at PONR and my package is still TQSurprise50.

Well, my UniFi has definitely been updated to 100mbps. Even my HyppTV is now Jumbo pack but not reflected at unifi.com.my yet. It's still TQ50 and Ruby pack there. Support tickets status are also unchanged.

After the TM contractors left at 5pm, I called 100 and reported the situation. At about 8pm, I got the 100mbps. Still have to wait for the contractors to come back to give me the new TPLink. unifi.com.my still unchanged.

I think so. I believe that's one of the "system problems" that prevented the contractor from finalising the job. Still, I can't brain why they are unable to just leave the equipment here while the system is updated to 100mbps. Which it is now as of 8pm.

Yeah, same here. For my installation today afternoon, I received the sms with the contractor's number in the morning. Sent a message to him asking for an approx time but he didn't reply. He did call about an hr before he came over. It's understandable though as installations can be unpredictable. Mine is a good example. What could have been done in 30mins, changing the BTU, ended up taking more than an hour due to TM's system problems. Not the contractor's fault but I was so disappointed.

Yeah, I know right. I suggested the same thing to them to leave the already installed equipment behind and let TM sort out the problems than kautim right? Because everything working already, ONU connected, internet OK even though only at 50mbps, telephone also working but they say cannot. I guess must be following SOP or something. The contractor tried though, I think he feels the same way cause he called 3 different, I presume, TM people but in the end still cannot.

That's a Telegram bot. My router uses it to communicate status messages such as IP address changes to my phone using the Telegram app.

It's "Order already completed and installed, and waiting system to update COMPLETE in 24 hours."
I've had that PORN PONR status since Sunday afternoon.

Interesting. Cause my ONU went dead on Sunday afternoon around the same time the status was changed to PONR. But it never came back on. No internet and no phone for the rest of Sunday. The CS who called on Friday warned me that this would happen.

If TM gives you a router for free, they'll renew your contract for another 2 years. Why not just buy your own router?

I'm using my own router but I let the contractors setup the new modem and new router so they can check everything's working with equipment familiar to them. I also brought out my old original VIP5 DIR-615 router just in case. See my old router, better give me a new one. smile.gif

Yeah, call again or go TM Point, even try different TM Points. Some people here couldn't get it at the Puchong TM Point but manage to do so at the Quill City Mall one.
