Easy. There are so many compatible ones.. Go to shop also you can see they are labeled on the box as Unifi and or Streamyx compatible. If I'm not mistaken, all Official Asus RT models sold in Malaysia supports. Read the past few pages also, you'll definitely see confirmed suggestions.

IMO, Asus has one of the most easiest and pleasant looking GUI. Has a quick setup internet feature. TP-Link is nice too, comes with a basic setup page and has help notes with descriptions of what terms mean and do. Just follow the prompts and you should be fine. Though in all fairness, all brands and models operate in the same way, just need to locate the key settings and setup.. Anything else are considered extra features for fine-tuning performance levels.

A very elite few is 179 and others 189 per month. It's late at this point. But sure, go ahead and directly ask TM. Only they can decide at this point to agree or not.

This.. While fighting my case, I refused to pay them for over 2 months till the bill was properly rectified. Made over a dozen report and each time I put it in black and white that I will not pay until they resolve the overcharged bill. They've only done so and I paid up in full promptly.. It's crazy that we have to keep demanding for fixes to problems they created themselves.. Cuz they are greedy. Their billing system could be simpler but no.. They like it complicated and only when you push then they change. Think about it.. Say they overcharged 500k people. I bet you, probably less than 100K will push for bill readjustment, the rest all pay blindly.. Rinse repeat for max squeezing.. doh.gif

You are still able to use it because your are still under some grace period from last payment due date, current bill date was 25th of January and TM charges ahead. Which means they simply cannot disconnect for not making a payment on services you haven't even used. Notice your payment due date..

No, everybody didn't get free upgrade.. I was already on the 30Mbps plan which is the max I can get. There is no upgrade to bump me up to and why I'm unable to get the 189 for 100Mbps you guys are getting.. I've decided to shift my focus from fighting TM to making sure TIME, which is already next door, moves into the high-rise building. Don't think in the next 5 years that TM will come to upgrade the infra. Higher chance of bringing TIME in and getting higher speeds for cheaper.. C'mon TIME dammit!

As pointed out.. Can't see nothing with https and or VPN.. It's simply how routers are built. What you should be looking for is a tool that enables MITM attacks between the client and the router. Obviously, you won't be getting such answers here.. shakehead.gif

Good for her, at least got 50Mbps.. Mine. no point, despite popular building developer and not like high until penthouse level biggrin.gif .. Its all good.. If can't tahan in a few, will head down to KL HQ and throw some words around see if any additional effect. Else, no choice until I move out or TIME moves in. Whichever comes first.

Either LAN issues or location problem. Some users have reported outages and extreme slow downs in their areas.. On the other hand, you the only user or there's some device doing unchecked torrenting at the same time? 30Mbps should stream YouTube easily.

I'm using the tplink router so unsure about the steps for yours. But somewhere under WAN/Internet settings, you should find the option to switch from default DNS servers to that of Google's..

I managed to get them to drop the price of 30Mbps from 179 to 139.. Which IMO, it's better than paying 129 for the 10Mbps Unifi Lite plan with "app only" Unifi TV. At least the 30Mbps comes with Jumbo Lite pack, if that's your thing. The 10Mbps was supposed to be just RM99 per month but classic TM shitty move, they forced on the app only Unifi tv thingy so they can charge an additional RM30 for services that people won't or can't use. But if you feel that you are okay with the 10Mbps and no STB.. Then save the extra RM10 per month then.

Depends on you. For now, it's not needed for the usual content. Future? who knows.. We just hope not. But If you have to access certain geo-restricted content or simply more paranoid than I am tongue.gif , then no choice.. You'll have to get a VPN or some smart DNS service to cover your behind just in case..

Tried a different client? Ever since uTorrent messed up by bundling crap with the free versions.. closed source, ads and hidden crypto miners.. I've since switched to qBitorrent. It's open source and I use this to download..cough..cough.. Linux distros.. ehem... No unusual speed drops and highly customisable provided one knows what they are doing.. cool2.gif

Multiple attack points.. Emails, calls, live chats, visited TM Point over half a dozen times..I've got more than 10 report numbers and made 2 long handwritten reports in person.... Till they agreed. Even then, the TM Point staff still managed to mess up the switch.. Downgraded my already free Jumbo pack to Jumbo Lite and then charged me a RM10 downgrade fee for their mistake. Time's money so I decided to call it a win and now looking at the best way to get TIME to move in.. There's a condo beside mine and it's already TIME equipped. So shouldn't be too hard..

And you missed my point. I'm aware of the client you use. My point is that since all the slowdowns happen when said client's in use, but most others using a different client do NOT experience the same. Once again.. Have you tried another client? Preferably the one I suggested as I use it and can vouch for no slowness as you experience. In fact, it adapts it's speeds based on parameters and network usage..

Same here... If until now, no news... Then most likely your place has a max 30Mbps speed and they won't come to upgrade infra or nothing..

Similar scenarios here.. Switched my free Jumbo + Ruby to Jumbo Lite + Ruby and I have to pay for Jumbo Lite.. doh.gif .. Been battling since at least November till date.. Really tai chi... It's like you said, their system so easy to screw up people's packages but reverting or offering better requires "investigation".. What to investigate? yesterday, package like this.. today package difference.. blardy revert the change.. No.. isshh.. Report IDs don't matter.. I have almost a dozen.. Some open, wait few days and suddenly I get an sms saying that my issue has been "resolved".. doh.gif

Now I understand why some dude walked into a Digi office throwing eggs everywhere and making a fuss.... Good luck with yours.. I've given up..
