Hey, thanks for the tip, mate... I'll give it a go this weekend and see how it works out.when low volumes it doesnt buzz.. . and one more tip try rollng your volume on your guitar. . . it works for me.. . i roll down the volume on my guitar and crank up the amp and pedal volume. . . that is why i came to a conclusion it is our pup. . . i dont think val has the same problem?
Me and Val are sending our 7s for set-up in the 3rd week of May. Just hope I can scrounge enough cash for pups by then so I can have 'em installed one shot, but I seriously doubt it...
JS Music can probably get me a good price on the X2N-7s but their next shipment is only in June or so...
Oh yeah, and I finally figured out why the EMG7s can't fit into the 1527 pickup cavity- the bloody things are housed in bass pickup casings so they take up more space than regular 7-string pups. Guess I really have no choice but to get passive pups this time 'round...
Hey, Beatmasta, you're rig sounds quite brutal... you'll be using it for your gig? ...and you still haven't told us what songs you're gonna play!
