QUOTE(b0rhui @ Aug 29 2017, 11:48 PM) When was the last time we had 30% cap RM20/30 kind of discount? Did we have it in june raya? fireworks will be around 11/11/11 and 12/12/12.Thinking if i should hold my purchase or fire it now i'm predicting, we will not have any good voucher code for the next few weeks. But i might be wrong. The current code for Apps are good enough i would say |

QUOTE(xcxa23 @ Aug 29 2017, 10:15 AM) Since so many replies about clickasia If you didn't throw the SD sdcard cover which really required for warranty , you can call to sandisk and ask them. The sdcard cardboard cover is the only proof you bought the genius brand.I bought a SanDisk sdcard and now it's unable to format and delete whatever in it. Even my phone can't mount it. Detectable via PC and laptop but still unable to format I msg and emailed them asking for warranty since Saturday. Until now, no reply from them Any one of u that bought from them successful claim for warranty? QUOTE(neo89 @ Aug 29 2017, 10:55 AM) Bought Samsung Evo 500gb from them. The selling page states it's a 5 years warranty. I called Samsung Malaysia to get a confirmation, turns out the warranty period is just merely 6 months. I then immediately filed a return request, however got rejected by ClickAsia saying that they do provide one year seller warranty, without any justification or apology. My complain case is still on-going. Will never buy from this seller again!! Untruthful advertisement. I wouldn't care much if my purchased item is lower price, but Samsung Evo 500gb I bought it at around RM800... and to get 6 months warranty and not 5 years really pissed me off. And it's very hard for me to be convinced that the seller will honour their words for the one year warranty provided judging from how they handle the matter. Anyway, this is just my experience. Delivery wise, yes they are very spot on on that. Other than that, not so much. QUOTE(neo89 @ Aug 29 2017, 12:35 PM) I gave them the serial number..sorry typo, not called, texted via live chat.. Which model of evo you bought ? There is no way 5 years become 6 months.http://www.samsung.com/my/support/#contactus They did not ask for the invoice..hmm..may be I should enquire again on this..Thanks.. Did you bought evo 840 pr 750 with 3 years warranty and the CAsia falsely advertise 5 years ? Try ask at SSD thread where horns can help you out. QUOTE(Maxieos @ Aug 30 2017, 02:48 AM) Which model of evo you bought ? There is no way 5 years become 6 months. maybe there is something about the purchased ssd that we are not aware of, the most straight forward one being the actual source of samsung ssds from the seller. (e.g. local or parallel import) if it's a parallel import, it's very likely that it's not covered locally. samsung doesn't offer international warranty for their ssds afaik. if it's a valid local unit, you're relatively safe, but please don't buy from such a seller that fails to honor their responsibility anymore, even it's a damn good deal. it's pointless to keep supporting those which don't appreciate their customers.Did you bought evo 840 pr 750 with 3 years warranty and the CAsia falsely advertise 5 years ? Try ask at SSD thread where horns can help you out. by the way, lazada does have the official samsung store, http://www.lazada.com.my/shop-storage/sams...official-store/ and they sell ssds too. if the ssd was bought from that store, or any stores that stock samsung ssds from local official distributors/channels, a full warranty coverage shall apply. there are several parties that you can contact to see if they can help: 1. local shops that help rma service with a fee like idealtech. however please make sure that it's not a parallel import first, because they might not be able to help if that's the case. 2. facebook, asking for a valid contact so that you can communicate better about the case, https://www.facebook.com/SamsungSSD/ 3. contact local distributors, such as http://www.ambleaction.com.my/solid-state-drives/ to seek their help (there are others in https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/505086 but i'm not sure if they are still valid) 4. you can also contact samsung malaysia electronics (sme) directly. sme is a valid contact because it's stated in their warranty information, http://www.samsung.com/my/support/warranty/ that they are the official samsung representative here that honors warranty, as long as the ssd is a local retail unit. (there are other terms and conditions, so please check the link out) for some reasons, as a norm, local shops honor warranty for the first year, the rest will need to contact local distributors, or manufacturers directly. in the case of samsung ssds, samsung always ask owners to contact the shop from which the ssd was bought first to initiate rma process. finally, please choose a well-reputed seller that can actually honor warranty next time. if you cannot find one, go to the official store, and get the proof of purchase. always. hope this helps and good luck. |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Bought this item. The seller is still stating 5 years warranty over there where as a matter of fact, they have replied me that they will only provide one year warranty from their end. https://www.11street.my/productdetail/samsu...e500bw-23662386 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Thank you very much for your help! You're truly a life saver! For no.1, I would like to know how can I check whether my item is local or parallel import? For no.3, will drop them a message later and see how it goes.. For no.3, I will try to seek for their help, but it's hard for me to request as I didn't buy the item from them in the first place.. A bit pai se with them.. Wonder if they will still help me on this or not... For no.4, I have checked, SSD is not mentioned at all under IT & Business Related Products... A very big thank you to both of you for your great help! Attached thumbnail(s) |
