Bad experience this morning, as I left my Vios (just a week old) internal lights turn-on overnight and my battery just gone flat. I never had such bad experience in my previous cars.

I switch to ‘On’ to look for something and forgot to switch it off and left it overnight. How does this dim works, maybe have time I will check with the SA or SC. |

Toyota technician came to jump start my car and said battery can go flat because it is a very low capacity battery, even for this door light. Maybe I will try again when On off days. |

Osram T10 W5Ws 6000k looking the part. I tend to be sceptical of no-name LEDs as I've seen too many cars with dim plate lights or flickering lights so Osram or Philips is my to-go brand.
Similar kelvin rating with the DRLs. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Satisfied with both brightness and colour temperature. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

Just finished my first service, should I hit hard on the accelerator pedal now to maximize its potential? How fast should I go?

QUOTE(Sh@rty 5 @ Jan 26 2018, 05:15 PM) What is that haha, I mean there is a saying like before first service gotta keep the rpm and speed low and after first service need to step hard on the accelerator pedal to awaken the potential or to stretch its potential so in coming years the car will be in optimum performance condition? Cause got saying like if you keep driving at low speed and low rpm, in coming years the car can’t soar already, not sure if it’s true. |

QUOTE(Sh@rty 5 @ Jan 26 2018, 05:15 PM) Today's TECH engine works very well , unlike old engine specs that need ECU with varies speeds, modes ..etc https://auto.howstuffworks.com/car-driving-...rol-systems.htm For me with low rpm TECH engine, just pump RON 97, using full synthetic oil, addictive cleaner oil, high spec spark plug and change air filter will give adequate/ sufficient performance. If want better perf, get C / D segment cars.. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1992673/all What are the best selling accessories usually clients look for from accessory shop? Could you please share it out, for Vios owners here to consider? E.g white LED color bulbs, HID, aerokits, safety and anti rolling bar, tyres pressure monitoring system, window visor, Infotainment, ..etc This post has been edited by netmask8: Jan 26 2018, 06:51 PM |

QUOTE(derick8860 @ Jan 26 2018, 04:40 PM) Just finished my first service, should I hit hard on the accelerator pedal now to maximize its potential? How fast should I go? 1. Pump RON 972. Try manual mode, M+ or M- jalan at Taman first, before you go out to main road.. Get familiarity with "MANUAL" gears.. 3. Driving as normal, no need to press hard pedal.. What's the purpose by doing this? Normal road, max 80 km/h . Highway, max 110/h .. Today's TECH engine is work well . Myths about the soft press pedal before 1k, after service, need to press harder pedal to certain speed, to get engine function even better.. An advise, Driving as normal, follow traffic rules, turn on signal when turning, DO NOT turn on fog lights on normal clear night, ..etc etiquettes are more important..
