Just finished my first service, should I hit hard on the accelerator pedal now to maximize its potential? How fast should I go?

What is that haha, I mean there is a saying like before first service gotta keep the rpm and speed low and after first service need to step hard on the accelerator pedal to awaken the potential or to stretch its potential so in coming years the car will be in optimum performance condition? Cause got saying like if you keep driving at low speed and low rpm, in coming years the car can’t soar already, not sure if it’s true.

Okay noted, I was uncertain. Btw, why try manual mode?

Hi all gong xi fa cai, my vios panoramic screen doesn’t turn off automatically as it used to be after I speed up. Anyone experience this before?

Yea, that’s one issue. But mine previously when speed up till like 30km/h, the panoramic screen will switch to navigation system automatically. Now even speed till 110km/h, the panoramic screen remained still... need long press the camera button every single time... 😞

Bought the prepaid maintenance package, went for 10,000km service.

The service centre representative said for semi-synthetic, only last for 7k or 4 months then will due for next service, is that true?

If it is like that then the prepaid maintenance package not so worth it. 🤢

RM1037 for 3 advance (semi-synthetic) & 1 advance plus (semi-synthetic).

I feel like if I take advance full synthetic 0w 20 for 2 times (last for 20,000km) is equal to 3 times the semi synthetic advance (last for 21,000km).

(Full synthetic) 282*2+442 vs 1037 (package)

1006 vs 1037

But the prepaid maintenance package got include 20% discount for certain service like alignment balancing & aircond etc.

I was thinking that all advance packages service will last the vehicle for 6 months or 10,000km regardless of the formulation, that’s why I bought this prepaid maintenance. I thought only the basic package will last for 5,000 or 3 months, you guys can refer to the maxcheck package list.

I think mine prepaid maintenance package is different from yours, yours one free until 40k seems very good deal.

Mine I thought can tahan until 40k, one 10k, next 20k, then 30k, finally 40k. But now they said the semi synthetic only can tahan 7k, so I feel like kinda same if I go walk in and choose the full synthetic package which can last me 10k.

Have my vios for a year d, recently i feel the car abit bit shaky on all modes (N, D or P), when i dabao mcd the paper bag would shakes when it’s placed on passenger seat.

Is this vibration normal? The vibration is very mild only, i dont think i feel this when i first got the car, but i cant remember though.

SC said semi syn is for 7,000km or 4 months interval, now already 4months+ but they never call me back to service, in the App it shows next service is at 6 months interval.

Dilemma, should I follow 4 months or 6 months interval?
