Hi,
I'm driving the TC-P model.

Last sunday night, while driving along PLUS hway, suddenly there's alarm and my car brake by itself.Ohhh..so surprised by this reaction. Don't know what cuse it brake by itself, is it because I hit pool of water? Any idea?
Thanks

This is what I'm afraid actually. Imagine if a car tailgating you behind and your car auto brake without reason and the car behind run into you.

Then you would claim his/her car insurance to cover the cost of repair.

Either the car brake itself or the driver brakes, result is the same when car behind tailgate.

From my observation on mine, the auto brake will happen when the car sense u r not slowing down or foot not applying brake when it sensed the car in front distance is getting nearer or idle. Usually it will alarm first but if it sensed u r applying the brakes, it wont activate. So far i encounter once at the roundabout where one car suddenly speed on redlight cutting into my lane to exit the roundabout, my car auto brake hard with ABS on. This feature is helpful. No regret getting the sensing.

This is what most people thought. I was involved in an accident just a month ago. A car came out from a slip road and straight away went to the fast lane. I couldn't brake enough and rammer the back of his car. We both went to police station to make reports. In the end, the sargeant concluded it was his fault and I managed to claim the other driver's insurance.
So not ALL the time it will be your fault if you hit someone's back

I have no idea what you guys are talking about in regards to Service A and Service B. Care to elaborate further please?

I just checked my car instrument panel. I have only 747km in Odometer but I have 2700km to go to oil change??! what the heck? Confuse!

A quick update regarding this oil life thing. As I drive a few more longer trips including one recent outstation trip, I notice that while the distance to oil life did not increase, it does take longer before it drop another 100km.

For example, a few weeks ago, I had 2700km to oil change even though I clocked just 747km = which means my oil life is just 3,447km in total.

Today, when I checked, my distance to oil change is 2100km but I have clocked 2000km. My total oil life is now 4100km. It's extended its life by 700km sweat.gif

If I keep this up, maybe I can hit 6,000km or 7,000km before I actually need to change oil brows.gif

My fear is not banging on someone who's texting.. my fear is someone behind me texting and then did not notice my car and bang me! Coz this situation is beyond my control where as I can be careful by keeping safe distance to the car in front.

Ya. I notice mine too. The "distance to oil change" does not deplete so fast when I clock more long distance drive.

The cases that you mentioned here is because
1. One is using handphone which violates the law
2. Cut in line without proper space and time

The case in referring here is if on a tailgating situation, even if the front car brakes emergency or due to sensing kicked in, the one who hit the back is always guilty because the laws required each vehicle to keep an distance of 1m if I'm not mistaken.

About a month. Actually i should get it faster, but due to the delay by rhb bank to process my request to change dealership from terengganu to hzn, i need to suffer for another 2 weeks wating time. But then, my SA did very good job by getting my car this week. Excellent job by hzn.

Yesterday i got random offer by Semenyih branch, new booking this month will get 4.5k rebate.

Can you pm me the raytech guy number, i would like to call them first. Tq

Hello guys

Test drove the CR-V and the Tiguan over the weekend and despite the better driving experience from the VW, am currently leaning towards the Honda for its safety features and tech.

Just wondering, noted that those who have bought the car don't go for the Honda authorised tints. Any reason why?

I've used Ecotint on all my cars and have only positive things to say so am leaning towards that if I decide to get the CR-V.

Cheers
