During civic FB and FE time, Semenyih SC are known to give extra cash rebates for car sales there. Not sure for CRV

Looks like the Hybrid is doing well in sales. Do you people opt for the Hybrid for it's drive train or for the economy?

The major selling point of the 6th gen CR-V is the hybrid drivetrain which is a lot more refined than the turbo CVT combo. The FC is a cherry on top. If I buy the V AWD I might as well get a 5th gen used for a better bargain. The hybrid drivetrain is the choice for most US buyers too (I’m in the CR-V subreddit). The only downside is this is a new setup for the CR-V, even though the i-MMD setup has been in the Civic for a while now; so there may be issues for first few batches until they fully iron out the kinks, but that’s an acceptable level of risk for me.

So far thr PPF, coating and Tint has been great
Would recommend them as they also gv regular maintainencr dates to touch up on yoir car

Anyone installed running board bought from Shopee? How's the quality? Looks like HM running board is RM2.6k which is insane.

Ive talked to few shops, most of them ranges around rm 500-600, with installation. Planning to install it in September.

I saw some RM500 some 700, not sure if there's real significant differences between those models or not. But in general they look quite identical (rubberized surface with some silver/gray aluminum color surrounding)

cheapest I survey less than 300, dont know quality same or not.

Yea, quite expensive. But even you have money also can’t install. No stocks….

You tried to buy from HM? Is it to avoid voiding warranty or something else?

Yea initially considering installation the running board. But after second thought, it’s a bit tedious and inconvenient when get down from car as will tend to rub against your leg/ long pants / skirts.

I install it on my first week getting the car at setapak around RM600

For me, that running board is not me to step, its a guard from your car to your next car,, G6 is a big car
When other car park beside you, normally kids will open the door door without minding next car and slam their door to your car,,
That running board will protect it because its the most outher part of your car body,, will kena it first

Asking early buyers of the CRV G5, especially those bought in say 2018 to 2020, has anyone did walnut blasting to clean the carbon deposit.

Also, those whose mileages already excess of 100k km, how is the CVT.

Anyone overhaul the CVT before or experienced CVT problems

Does yours look like the original one from HM, or some other design?
