I was asking between the discrepancy of the -22 models name as there are some with e5186-22, e5186s-22a, e5186s-22 and so forth.

I dont see such info stated on the main page?  unsure.gif

Factors that affect network performance:

1) Your device:
• Getting a new LTE modem especially a LTE CA capable one will have better performance.
• You might be having a faulty modem, try switching your SIM card with other modems.

2) Your signal coverage:
• If you are not within LTE-A coverage area or getting awful 1 bar signal, don't expect to have 20Mbps of speed.
• Consider placing your modem at a better spot.

3) Congested with other users:
• If you live in an area where there are a lot of Digi users, be prepared with network congestion.
• Even you have a 100Mbps modem, under serious congestion, you may not even get 5Mbps.

4) Timing:
• The network will be more congested at a certain time when there's a lot of users on the network. Bear with it, it is normally the fastest during midnight.

Check for LTE-A coverage on Samsung devices:
[attachmentid=8831039]
Only works with new Samsung phones with CA ability. (S7, S8 etc)
You can also refer to my old LTE guide, a lot of them are still applicable.user posted image

Hi all, can Huawei B593S-22 can support Internet +Call for this plan? Currently using Celcom First Gold Plus with this device and no problem making call + internet.

bro. that fb group is so messy with so called DiGi "agent" who wants to offer service to register i150 with payment ranging from RM 70-150. some of the agent claim its free for the first month and the second month will be rebated for RM50, which turn out to be untrue. There's no free 1st month and the agent is getting $$$ ranging from RM20 to 100 ringgit. If its minimal fee, should be ok. But to claim until RM100, this is bad. I would suggest that the group page should do screening for new posting. In fact, i think most of the user in the group page might already subscribed to infinite plan, and most of us wanted to know how to improve our speed.

Seriously I think Huawei E5186s-22a is overated. I'm perfectly happy now with Huawei B310As-852. Way cheaper than 5186, no carrier aggregation. But can connect to LTE band 3/7 and 8.

Consistently at least 20Mbps. It's nothing to shout about, but more than enough for average user like me.

Hi CustomKids,
I am using the 810s and I am unable to get CA as well, is it because of Telstra branded modem?
*
I have consulted Netgear regarding the CA issue. According to Netgear, we are currently connected to CA without knowing it. The modem will automatically connect to the best band /signal and assign to it. In the Diagnostics tab, you can see which frequency/band that you connected under Current Radio Band info. But you can only see only 1 band (Main band) in the info.

If you really keen to see which band that you connected (CA), there is 2 ways of doing it.
1. Connect your AC810s to PC using USB and check it with Telnet. (Google / Refer Netgear Forum)
2. Change to other modem that can manually lock the band. Eg : Huawei E5186-22a / B618 drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif

I tested several modem and the result show that different Category LTE capable modem does affect the speed. flex.gif flex.gif

AC810s (Cat11 & 3CA) is consider a good buy in case B8 can CA in the future. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Maybe wifi issue. Or the device issue. Either the hotspot device or the receiver device.

E5186 is not overated. The problem is on digi/ISP side.
A good LTE-A for digi, can reach to 100M out of 145(10+10mhz) - 180M(10+15mhz) speed.

And it depends on you or the users deem how much speed is enough for you.

I am glad that LTE-A for my home is stable at 60-80M, and max at 110M.

I experience the same issue here.

Speed is capped when the SIM card is in my modem.
