QUOTE(0705224 @ Jul 13 2017, 04:32 PM) Hi CustomKids, I have consulted Netgear regarding the CA issue. According to Netgear, we are currently connected to CA without knowing it. The modem will automatically connect to the best band /signal and assign to it. In the Diagnostics tab, you can see which frequency/band that you connected under Current Radio Band info. But you can only see only 1 band (Main band) in the info. I am using the 810s and I am unable to get CA as well, is it because of Telstra branded modem? If you really keen to see which band that you connected (CA), there is 2 ways of doing it. 1. Connect your AC810s to PC using USB and check it with Telnet. (Google / Refer Netgear Forum) 2. Change to other modem that can manually lock the band. Eg : Huawei E5186-22a / B618 I tested several modem and the result show that different Category LTE capable modem does affect the speed. AC810s (Cat11 & 3CA) is consider a good buy in case B8 can CA in the future. This post has been edited by CustomKids: Jul 13 2017, 10:24 PM |

Its happened to me once last week. Speed drop from 80mbps to <5mbps. Maybe doing too many speedtest with different device. Happen around 7~8pm like that.
But after reset the modem, the problem solved. |

QUOTE(easta90 @ Jul 21 2017, 04:24 PM) sorry.. i cant give any link or website because i bought it from private person ..contact by email ..not from china , no warranty for this router ..100% saya tanggung risiko if any problem .. price $200++ below market price , router is 100% new but box already open .. M1 can operate with/without battery, can just plug in the usb type-c direct into wall plug. Make sure charger support Quick Charge 2.0. Using 24/7 and get consistent speed without overheat =)huawei b618s-22d (cat11-600mb) is the latest huawei gateway router - February 2017 (need plug) huawei b525 is rebrand from huawei e5186 (cat6-300mb) -design (need plug ) Netgear Nighthawk M1 (cat16) - is better one portable mifi - using battery (can go anywhere with this mifi) depends on u , if me i want using this router at home share with family , i prefer stable connection using plug and better reception antenna like huawei b618 or b525 if u want to control quota to any user , u need to add some router like asus to combine with this router for control user , huawei router doesnt have this features |

QUOTE(EON @ Jul 24 2017, 01:28 PM) Better spend on good antenna rather than unproven solution. Try google Poynting antenna or similar brand. Only 1 time cost and u can use for a long time / different modem. And try get the MIMO type p/s: Buy antenna is u got rather low signal / unstable connection. |

QUOTE(hapisal @ Jul 31 2017, 07:47 AM) buy super power mobile hotspot like nighthawk m1 bro.. What's your location? before do speedtest firsly clear any background running application on phone/laptop depend on your device.. like mine im using i7 processor laptop with samsung ssd inside. yesterday i went to show off my m1 netgear and try with my friends iphone and tablet .. cannot go la.. only can get 35Mbps.. but im using bloody poor samsung j7 can go 48Mbps.. do it many2 time the result is j7 on top lol.. clear ram, restart and try run speedtest again and again. I noticed that M1 signal reception is not as strong as those LTE router..going to buy antenna to boost the signal reception. Btw, i'm noticed some performance drop compared to last time...now mostly stable at 50mbps |

For netgear mifi, use at least Quick Charge 2.0 charger to power your mifi to avoid random restart.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 15 2017, 01:35 AM) Complaint will improve meh? Same case with both of them..complaint and nothing happen..keep telling us that tower is under maintenance..berapa kali need maintenance lo..After maintenance, getting worst than before... The worst part is..CS told me that they have solved the issue and upgrade, after that can online with "usable" speed (5~10mbps)..before this was 40mbps minimum consistently.. And guess what...after few day,i can't online again..i called to complaint..another CS told me that nothing have been done to the tower and they still pending to upgrade the tower etc... For me, all those maintenance just an EXCUSE by Digi to layan those complaint. Worst after sales service ever...but what to do, Digi the only option for me This post has been edited by CustomKids: Dec 15 2017, 10:20 AM |

After struggle with Digi for this past few month, Digi finally solved my issue.. Speed get back to 80mbps...During 8-12pm can get around 30~50mbps..not bad for wireless broadband.
But i plan to port out soon, as i need stable internet connection for my work and home usage. Digi have the best unlimited plan so far. Recommended for those who have better Digi coverage / tower. Have some equipment to let go soon, eg M1, B525, yagi x2 Mimo and Panel Antenna. Hope u guys can utilize it more than i do. Cheers |

For me, M1 is better suit for those who travel a lot / mobile. Not suitable for home router.
The main drawback for M1 is the band selection/ current band indicator. That why i option for B525. But M1 build quality is good. Feel solid to hold. Battery last a lot longer than my wife ac790 / huawei mifi. FYI, M1 size is not small, consider big for portable wifi. Its like put a 1040mah power bank in your pocket. For the reboot issue, just simply use it with QC2.0 charger and better USB type-C cable, which i did. No reboot occur after that as Netgear packaging come with normal non-QC charger. BTW, 2CA is more than enough for current use as Malaysia 4g-LTE-A not that stable yet. Only some location benefit from Carrier Aggregation. Make sure to check your local tower/ band before buy LTE-A capable modem. For those who have good LTE-A in their area, go for it. It almost double the speed. QUOTE(fadzly @ Jan 10 2018, 01:50 PM) thanks for the reply. For your case,e5186 and ee60 speedtest done under the same scenario? Speed constant at 100mbps? Not sure about M1 in your area. Try borrow your friend Samsung S8 and see the result. my ee60 can get 100mbps. but with e5186-22a, i cant get the speed. u think i can get more than 100mbps with M1? LTE-A here Judging from my experience, CPE tend to have better connection and speed. |

QUOTE(fadzly @ Jan 10 2018, 04:41 PM) Yup. Same scenario. Both single band and CA were test. U can't get similar result. Speed can't be constant at 100mbps. The speed I got for 100 mbps are usually morning and people are out to work. Average speed I got were 50-60mbps. Im using iphone X, buT some said due to chip issue, it doesn't perform as well as the ee60 Same placement? Check the signal strength for both device? BTW, nice speed u got there..more than average speed other people get. BTW, my M1 sold within minutes i post at garage sales. I just know that a lot of people looking for M1.
